ADAC & RI M.Sc. Agriculture Eligibility Criteria

  1. Graduates who have completed four year undergraduate degree program in the required specialization by any one of the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs)/ Colleges affiliated to SAUs/Central Agricultural Universities (CAUs)/ICAR Deemed Universities/Central Universities with Agriculture Faculty listed by ICAR/ any other institutes accredited by NAEAB (ICAR) alone are eligible to apply.
  2. A candidate who has undergone a course credit system with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 6.60 out of 10.00 in Bachelor’s Degree Programme can apply. (For SC/ST candidates, minimum CGPA- 6.50 out of 10.00 in bachelor’s degree).

ADAC & RI M.Sc. Agriculture Selection Criteria

  1. Candidates need to appear for an entrance examination on a specified date at TNAU, Coimbatore.
  2. The exam will be of 1 hour 15 minutes duration. Those who have applied for two subjects will have to write the exam continuously for two and half hours.
  3. The test will be of 100 marks and will consist of multiple choice questions.
  4. A valid photo I.D proof will be required for entering the entrance hall. Candidates must arrive on time. Candidates will not be allowed to carry calculators, paper, log tables, mobile or any electronic gadget, rulers, highlighters, watches etc inside the hall.
  5. Candidates must fill the OMR sheet with black ball point pen only. To mark an answer, the candidate must shade the circle and no other mark should be used.
  6. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the hall within the first 45 minutes. Candidates who fail to produce the original certificates and Provisional Certificate for which they had uploaded the scanned copies while filling application form will not be allowed to write the entrance test.
  7. The candidate will be informed of his selection to PG programme by email or SMS only.The list will also be uploaded on the official website.
