Bunts Sangha's S.M. Shetty College of Science, Commerce and Management Studies is an affiliated college of the University of Mumbai. It was established in 2008 by the Mumbai-based Bunts Sangha Charitable Trust.

SM Shetty College offers a number of UG and PG courses in the disciplines of Science, Commerce, Management and Media Studies. It currently offers B.Com, BAF, BBI, BMS, BMM and B.Sc. in IT programs at the UG level. At the PG level, the institute offers M.Com and M.Sc. in IT.

SM Shetty College M.Com and M.Sc Admission 2023

SM Shetty College of Science, Commerce & Management Studies offers 2-year M.Com and M.Sc in IT at the PG level. The basic eligibility to apply for M.Com and M.Sc is a B.Com and B.Sc (IT) degree from a recognized university with 45% aggregate marks.

Admission to both courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree.

SM Shetty College Application Process 2023

The application process for admission to degree courses offered by the college is done as per University of Mumbai guidelines. Prospective candidates can register online through the University of Mumbai website. The subsequent step is to apply at the college level. The application process in details is as follows:

Candidates must visit the college campus and purchase the application form from the admission office by paying the application fee in cash.
All relevant columns in the application form must be filled correctly with accurate details. The applicant must also ensure that the completed application form is duly signed and photograph attached, before submission.
At the time of registration with the University of Mumbai, the candidates will receive a Submission Copy and a Student Copy of the registration form.
The submission copy has to be attached to the application form of the institute, and the Student Copy must be retained by the candidate for future correspondence.

Note: Candidates from outside Maharashtra must submit their original Migration Certificate at IDOL (University of Mumbai) within the stipulated deadlines. They must obtain Eligibility Certificate from the University which must be submitted to the institute at the time of submission of the completed application form.
