- Students should have passed HSC (10+2) examination in order to apply for MBBS/ B.Sc./ B.Pharm first year program.
- NEET UG entrance examination scores are valid for admission to MBBS course.

Madurai Medical College offers admission to the 5-year MBBS Program on the basis of scores obtained in the entrance examination as well as a qualifying degree. The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the course is 10+2 with PCB as compulsory subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

To apply for the 3-year M.S. and M.D. courses, candidates must possess a MBBS/BDS Degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates).
