NIET Greater Noida UG Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on the performance in either UPSEE or marks secured in the Entrance Examination conducted by the Institution.

Life at NIET

I wanted to pursue computer science engineering and on the basis of my score in uptu I got admission to this college in the first round. The reviews I got from the seniors of this college and also the online sources about the placement and culture were also impressive. There are also annual sports meet and various other hackathons in the organisation. It offers an all-round development to the student with an assured placement. The faculty here are mostly associate professors while some are professors having a PhD. Their method of teaching is through slides and presentations like any other engineering college. They are highly skilled and qualified in their area. Exams are held on a regular basis. There are two internal and one external exam in a semester.

Good review

I have chosen B.Tech because I want to become a software engineer. I have also applied for admission by counseling and I have taken the AIML branch which is an emerging branch. All faculties are very nice, few are strict but they have very nice teaching style and experience. Almost all of them have completed their Ph.D. And the ratio is about 20 students per teacher. Per month there are sessional exams and 1 month is completely for semester exams and half month goes for internal and external exams.

Excellent option for Btech and Pharmacy related course.

I chose this course as I want to become a software engineer nd want to do a master's in coding. Well, I m not very sure about the faculty: student ratio. All the faculties are well qualified some are still doing Ph.D. in their field. some have completed their Mtech from IITs or NITs. And their teaching method is superb. As this year our session was delayed to start so exams were taken in a short time. but it was manageable. This is an autonomous college so not very difficult to pass the exam.
