BBM Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria, Application Process, Top Colleges, Entrance Exam

BBM or Bachelor of Business Management is a 3 year undergraduate program. BBM Admission takes place both through entrance exams and through a merit based process. Final selection of the applicants is done via seeing their performance in the WAT and PI round.

BBM course eligibility is that candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria which states that applicants need to clear their 12th boards in any stream and must have secured 50% aggregate marks. BBM Admission 2023 Eligibility

The BBM eligibility criteria states that -

  • Candidates have to successfully pass their 10th and 12th board exams in a relevant stream from a recognized educational institute.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their 10+2 levels, in case of merit-based admission.
  • Candidates have to qualify through entrance exams to get permission for admission to the BBM course, conducted on either University or National level.

  • Candidates need to fill the application form at first, by going to the official website of the college where they want to pursue the BBM course.
  • After filling the application form, candidates need to re-check if the details they have inserted are corrected or not, and proceed by paying the fees, and complete the application process.
  • Next, a merit list will be issued on a specific date, if candidates find their name in that first merit list, they need to report at the college campus either online or offline.
  • Depending upon the college, they might have to sit for the WAT round and PI round, which will decide their final selection.
  • Candidates clearing all these phases will have to go through the counselling round where their documents will be verified, and seat allotment will be done accordingly.

Ans. IIM Indore offers an Integrated Program in Management (IPM) which is a 5-year management program. The detailed procedure for admission to the course is given below. Eligibility Criteria:  Passed 12th in 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2021 and secured 60% in 10th examination. Application fee and registration:  Application fee of INR 4,130 (general and NC-OBC candidates) and INR 2,065 (SC/ST/PwD candidates). Register for the entrance test online. Aptitude Test (AT):  Consists of Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answer), and Verbal Ability (MCQ) having a time limit of 1.5 hours. You need to clear the cut-off to appear for the Personal Assessment (PA). Personal Assessment (PA):  It consists of a personal interview (PI) and a writing ability test (WAT). If you are willing to pursue MBA after the completion of your engineering then IPM is the good option for you as you can complete your IPM in five years while engineering and MBA together will be for the entire six years. If you go for IPM, you will have one year of job experience after six years.  In the IPM program, you will get to learn relevant courses in the undergraduate (first three years), while the things you will learn in engineering, will not be of much use in an MBA.  IPM gives you a chance of doing an MBA from an IIM. If you want you can also attempt CAT to get into another IIM, after 3 years of the course.  If you are determined to do an MBA after gaining some experience, then IPM gives that option too. After two years of the IPM program, you will have the chance to work for two years. After that, you can come back and pursue your MBA from IIM Indore. Read more
