PGD in Transport Management: What is it About?
This course program trains enrolled students in theories, practices and business models that make up transport management, as also essentials of the distribution networks. It blends lessons from various streams such as Engineering, Economics, and City Planning involved in the design of transportation systems. Program participants are also trained in ensuring stability, improving safety, and enhancing the reliability and effectiveness of transportation systems.

Eligibility for PGD in Transport Management

For applying to the course, aspiring candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline from a recognized/ accredited institute, although a Bachelor’s degree in Transport Management is preferred

Students who have appeared in their final year examination of a relevant Bachelor’s degree program, and are yet to pass its final year examination, are also welcome to apply, subject to a successful completion of their Bachelor’s degree program/ graduation within a certain time period.

Admission to the course is based either on performance in a relevant entrance test and the following round of interview, or in most cases, direct admission is offered too.
