Ans. Amity Business School, Noida offers an MBA in sales and marketing, which is decent in terms of placement but has certain drawbacks too. The points below give a brief overview of the institute, stating some of its advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, MBA in sales and marketing at Amity Business School is very costly. Both the tuition and hostel fees are extremely costly, because of which most students can’t afford a course from the institute. Amity Business School provides an overall good exposure in all industrial sectors. The placements in Amity Business School, Noida are very good in terms of packages offered and overall placement percentage. Ques. What will be the better choice for marketing, BIMM or PIBM? Why?

● Top Answer By Admin on 26 Jul 21

Ans. For an MBA in marketing, PIBM is definitely a better option than BIMM. The points below state some of the key highlights of PIBM, along with some advantages and disadvantages of both the institutes, which will support the choice. PGDM from PIBM is a much better choice than that of BIMM, having a guarantee of a secured future after passing out of the institute. PIBM provides the best available training in separate sessions, which is one of the most vital aspects required to get a good placement in MNCs. In such training sessions, every individual is mentored with utmost care and personal assistance methods. Guest lecture sessions are organized by the institute in which mentors from the corporate world visit and guide the students. Throughout the sessions, you will be made to go through several Industrial visits, winter and summer internships, live projects, and assignments. This will offer proper practical knowledge, be interactive, and have good exposure to the corporate world. Various students have been offered PPOs by top companies. In the in-campus placement, every student in PIBM is easily placed, being well trained through the mock GD and PI classes. PIBM does not maximize seats in its batches. The total number of seats available in the institute is limited, which decreases the competition in placement. Due to this low competition in placement, students need not work hard for their preparation. Talking about BIMM, there are some disadvantages that make it the less preferred option among the two. The main problem faced is the batch size, which is huge. There is a lot of competition in the placement of BIMM just because of this reason. The faculties in BIMM do not pay as much personal attention as required for individual students. This is also an effect of the huge batch size. Therefore, considering all the points stated above, it is clear that PIBM is definitely a better choice, having a much better training facility and placement than BIMM.Read more

Ques. Which one is better for an MBA in marketing, PIBM Pune or IILM Noida/Gurgaon?

● Top Answer By Janvi Bhambri on 15 Jul 21

Ans. PIBM and IILM are both good institutes when it comes to MBA or management studies. IILM is comparatively old and also has a legacy of more than 25 years which gives it an edge over PIBM Pune. Moreover IILM has 3 campuses in the Delhi and Noida region and also in cities like Jaipur, Lucknow etc. IILM is the better of the two due to the reasons below. Curriculum: Its curriculum has been widely accepted and has been globally recognized adding to its list of achievements. Location: Its location brings it closer to the industries with tons of job opportunities. Also, it is located near the capital of the country. Alumni Network: Strong alumni network of more than 15000+ students who are present globally in almost every MNC. Placements: More than 300 companies visit the campus drive every year for placements. According to the recent placement highlights the highest CTC offered at the institute is 5 LPA. Higher Studies Abroad: It has tie-ups with some of the leading institutes of the USA and UK. Students can go to summer studies camp or for a special course. Industrial Partners: Industrial exposure is given to the students by leading industrialists and seminars and webinars are conducted on a regular basis. Based on all the above factors, I will suggest you choose IILM Noida for an MBA in Marketing.Read more

Placement Experience :

The placement and internships provided by our college were good. The placement cell in our college provides 100% assistance for placement and the internships were also done abroad. The highest salary offered was around 6 LPA, the average was 3 and the lowest was 2 LPA.

Faculty :

The faculty members of our college were one of the best faculties that I have ever encountered. We have total members of around 12 core faculties and 7 visiting faculties in our college. They were all qualified enough in their own field of education.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of our college is good. There is an alumni committee in our college that works in keeping in touch with the alumni. The seniors in our college were also very friendly and helpful with us, they guide us whenever we need guidance.

Admission :

I had quite a few options. I got selected in XAHR, BIMM, IMIk and MDIm. I attended the process of MDI where the first process after appearing for CAT was to fill the form of MDIm which costed around Rs 1100. After the CAT results, we got calls from colleges. My centre was in kolkata where the first task was document verification. After that we went for group discussions in groups of 10 people. Upon which we were called for personal interview on the same day. The results were conveyed to us over mail. I chose this course because of the MDI brand name, the ROI of the Institute and after going through the kind of companies that visited the campus.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is about Boys 2.5:1 girl. Cultural committee organises parties very often. So it's kind of good stress buster for students. We have students for every state of the country mostly. And it's a ragging free campus. Economic status doesn't matter much as all are treated equally. We have different clubs and committee who organises Various events throughout the year.

Faculty :

All the faculty in our campus are PhDs . They are quite good in their domain. They take help of digital learning too. We have a lot of guest faculties coming in from MDI Gurgaon and IIMs. They come and teach our curriculum which is quite diverse. We feel we are in safe hands. Besides aa students, we feel the schedule become quite hectic between morning to night.

Alumni/Alumna :

My college days were good and especially we were given good opportunities even after the completion of my PGPM degree. Like many of the time, I was asked to attend various seminars and events. As well as workshops in which we were given the opportunity to present our own papers.

Admission :

I was enthusiastic while joining this college to pursue the PGPM program. Hence, right after graduating I filled the form which was available on the net. The form cost me around Rs 1180/-. Therefore, I submitted all the academic documents and was able to get into this college.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of the college worked for all of us when we were in our final year. As many companies were invited by the campus in order to select and hire us with good salary package. Like I was placed in Kotak and my friend got into OYO with a good annual package.

Admission :

I filled this application form available on the website for Rs 1180/-. After this, I gave my academic profile and qualification along with this, I also gave my CAT scorecard which was 74.2 percentile. Hence, on the basis of the scores, I was able to get into this college.

Campus Life :

At my college, we used to have various activities as well as we were encouraged to balance between academics and non-Academic life. Also, the classrooms were spacious and covered so many types of equipment that were required for the presentations and research papers.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I studied various concepts and theories related to management and leadership. The course structure was similar to the MBA program but it was less challenging than that. As I studied about Managerial accounting, Finance management as well as Business analytics.
