AIIMS MBBS/ NEET 2023 Counselling Procedure

NEET 2023 qualifiers i.e candidates who score minimum qualifying percentage and have their names in the rank list are eligible to participate in the first round of online counselling. Steps to register and participate in the counselling of AIIMS MBBS are as follows:

Step 1: Counselling Registration

  • Visit the official portal of MCC and register for participating in the counselling process.
  • Counselling Registration link will be available shortly.

Step 2: Exercising Choice Preferences

  • After registration, login to the counselling module.
  • Candidates have to choose their preferences of AIIMS institutions and record the same in the portal.
  • Here, candidates can add/delete/order/reorder their choice preferences.
  • Post this step, save the choices and lock-in & submit the choices.

Step 3: Allotment Results

  • Seat Allotment results will be released for each round of counselling.
  • The result of seat allotment is based on the merit and the choices filled by the candidates.

Step 4: Reporting

Candidates who are allotted a seat need to report at the allotted college with the original documents to complete the admission formalities.

  • NEET 2023 Admit Card
  • NEET 2023 Scorecard
  • Class X Certificate and Marksheet

AIIMS MBBS Seat Allotment

AIIMS MBBS NEET 2023 Seat Allotment Process

NEET 2023 seat allotment will be done after every round of counselling based on the choices filled and seat availability.

  • Candidates allotted a seat have to download the NEET 2023 seat allotment letter from the MCC login page.
  • Then, candidates are given a time period of 3-4 days to report at the allotted college with the allotment letter and the important documents mentioned above.
  • After verification of the candidate’s eligibility and medical fitness, the admission is granted.
  • The admission letter is issued and candidates need to make the fee payment.

If candidate does not accept the seat allocated in round 1, he can choose free exit (in case he does not want to participate in further rounds) or seat upgradation in next round through fresh choice filling.

Ques. How conducts the counselling for AIIMS MBBS admission?

Ans. NEET Counselling for AIIMS MBBS admission is conducted via online mode by MCC from 2019 year onwards.

Ques. What is the Schedule and guidelines/ procedure of Online Counselling of AIIMS?

Ans. The schedule and guidelines/ procedure of Online Counselling will be uploaded later on the website of MCC- mcc.nic.in. 

Ques. How many candidates are eligible for the 1st Round of Online counselling?

Ans. In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC and ST, the candidates who have qualified NEET Cut off are eligible for participating in the counselling.

Ques. How much time is provided to join in the allotted course?

Ans. For AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS you will be required to join the course within the time period mentioned in the schedule of online counselling rounds by MCC.

Ques. In case I do not have Birth Certificate/Caste Certificate/another certificate (s) in English or Hindi but they are in a regional language, will it be acceptable for AIIMS MBBS counselling/ at the time of admission?

Ans. It must be noted that the certificates issued by the competent authorities should be in English or Hindi language only. In case your certificates are in a regional language, you are advised to carry a Certified True Copy of the original (regional language) certificate, translated into English/Hindi language, and also bring the original certificate in regional language at the time of counselling/admission.

Ques. What are the qualifying marks for each category in AIIMS MBBS?

Ans. NTA has set a minimum qualifying percentage that NEET test taker must score in order to participate in the counselling procedure. Candidates obtaining the same will have their names in the merit list of NEET AIIMS MBBS. Tabulated below are the percentage and marks in order to qualify for the medical examination:
