How to Fill CUET 2023 Application Form?

As CUET application process is completely online, candidates are advised to fill out the application form with a stable internet connection and keep all the documents handy.

Step 1: Registration- Visit the official website of CUET 2023 i.e. cuet.samarth.ac.in. Click on the tab that says ‘New Registrations’ and read all the instructions provided carefully.

Step 2: Filling Out Registration Form- Applicants need to fill up the following information

• Candidate’s Name
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Guardian’s Name
• Present Address

After filling in the required information, candidates need to choose a password of minimum of 8 characters. And select a security question. Candidates should choose the most generic question, so it would be easily remembered. This step is going to be concluded by entering the security pin.

Step 3: Preview the personal information- The personal details, addresses provided by the candidates need to be previewed before submitting. Candidates can also edit the details (if required) by clicking on the ‘Edit Registration Details’ button.

The submission of CUET Registration Form can be done by clicking on the ‘Submit and send OTP to Mobile’.

Step 4: Verification of OTP- Applicant has to complete the OTP verification process. OTP is going to be received on the registered mobile number/Email id of the Applicant.

Applicants is going to receive the CUET Application Form number after the successful verification of the OTP on their registered mobile number/Email id.

NOTE: Candidates are advised to note the application form number for future reference. Every time you need to login in to your application you is going to require this registration number.

Step 5: Login- Candidates need to login into their accounts by using their newly generated application number and password. After successfully login click on the ‘ Continue Application Form’ button.

Step 6: Complete CUET Application Form- Candidates need to complete their application form by filling up the other personal details such as:

• Identity Type
• Valid Identification Number
• Complete Present Address: Premises name, sub locality, locality
• Alternate Contact Number
• Other Quota/Category

Candidates can fill out the information and press the ‘Proceed To Next Section’ button. This is going to navigate them to other sections of the form i.e. Educational Details

Step 7: Filling out the Education Details- While filling in the educational details, candidates are advised to keep their documents in hand. The columns to be filled are as follows.

• Class 10th or equivalent educational details: Result status, passing year, qualifying exam, place of schooling, type of schooling, Qualifying Examination District, Board Name, School Address, School Pincode, Roll Number, Result Mode, Maximum Grade Point, CGPA obtained,
• Class 12th education details: Same as above mentioned for class 10th.

After successfully completing the educational formalities, save it and proceed to the next section i.e. University/Programme Selection Section.

Step 8: University/Programme Selection Section- Candidates have to select the University name & program offered by the selected University. Candidates can also deselect the selection by clicking on the Remove button present against each University and Programme selected.

Post selecting the University and the program offered by them, candidates need to update the program form.

Step 9: Test Paper/ Subject Selection- Candidates have to select the test paper/subject for the First & Second slot of CUET 2023 exam. It is advised to read the information bulletin of the respective University before test paper/subject selection.

Step 10: Examination Center Selection- Candidates can select the four cities as their CUET examination center on the basis of their preferences. Click the “save” button to proceed further.

Step 11: Uploading Section- In this section, candidates have to upload the supporting documents for the details mentioned in the application form. The documents need to be uploaded in the provided format.

• Photographs and Signatures are required in jpg. Or jpeg. Image format.
• The file size of the photo must be within the 10 kb to 200kb limit.
• The file size of the signature must be within the 4kb to 35 kb limit.
• Document/Marksheet/Certificate must be in pdf format within the 50 kb to 300 kb limit.

The “delete” button is provided to delete the wrongly uploaded photo, signature & documents of the applicant.

Step 12: Preview the Complete CUET Application Form- Candidates are required to view and update the application form before the application fee payment. Once all the details are verified check all the uploaded documents using the view button in the ‘Uploaded Scanned Files’ section.

After confirming click on the checkboxes near the Particulars Checklist to be Verified to confirm your acknowledgment of all the details furnished.

Step 13: Email Confirmation- Candidates need to confirm their Email ID before proceeding with CUET Application Fee Payment.

Step 14: CUET Application Fee Payment- The application fee is going to be automatically fetched on the basis of test paper selection.

Step 15: Print Confirmation Page- Candidates need to download the confirmation page for future reference. A sample of this confirmation page is provided below.

What After CUET 2023 Application Fee Payment?

After the successful payment of the application fee for CUET 2023, the following options are displayed:

• View Your CUET 2023 application form
• Check your payment status
• Do you want to add more courses

Note: At this stage, candidates could apply for additional courses by paying the additional fees as specified.

Dicrepency in CUET 2023 Application Form 

Mentioned below are the criteria on the basis of which a candidate’s application form for CUET 2023 can be rejected:

• In case the face in the photograph or signature is unclear
• If candidates did not meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the examination authority
• If false details are entered by the candidate

CUET 2023 Application Form Status

• Only candidates whose application form is accepted received the application status.
• Candidates received the application status on their registered email address and mobile number.
• Candidates who paid online received the intimation immediately.
• Offline payment candidates received the same within 2 to 3 days after reconciliation from the bank

CUET 2023 Application Form Correction 

Candidates are allowed to edit their CUET 2023 Application Form for a limited period of time. It could be done by logging in with the candidate’s login ID and password. Candidates can make changes to CUET test cities but only within the same state.

Please note that candidates is going to not be allowed to edit the following details

• Email Id
• Mobile Number
• Address (Permanent and Present)

Candidates must note that once they have paid the application fee, CUET online form cannot be edited. After completing the payment, candidates could also add additional courses of their choice by paying an additional amount of the same fee. They could however not exceed three courses.

How to reset CUET 2023 Login Password? 

The following options are available to reset the Password 

• Use Security Question and the Answer you have chosen during Form filling. 
• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No. 
• Use a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address. 

CUET 2023 Application Form Important Instructions

• Candidates applied to a maximum of three participating central universities only. To apply to more than three universities, candidates paid the application fee again.
• The application form of a candidate is not accepted by exam authorities till CUET 2023 test fee is going to be paid successfully.
• An email and SMS is going to be sent to candidates’ registered email ID and phone number on successful CUET online application form submission and fee payment.
• Candidates making application fee payments through SBI challan may have to wait for seven days to receive the confirmation for acceptance of CUET 2023 registration form.
