CUSAT CAT 2023 is going to be conducted from April 29 to May 1, 2023. As per CUSAT CAT 2023 Exam Pattern, the exam will be held in online mode for 3 hours. The questions will be of MCQ type, each question will be allotted 3 marks for the correct answer, and for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

What is CUSAT CAT? Cochin University of Science and Technology or CUSAT, conducts the Common Admission Test for admission to all UG and PG Programs except Ph.D. and Diploma programes. CUSAT CAT is a university-level entrance exams for candidates who wish to study at the university.

The candidate who wants to secure admission into different courses under Cochin University of Science and Technology has to complete CUSAT CAT 2023 Application form process with all the necessary information on the university's official website accordingly. The candidate should not enter incorrect details or credentials as that will eventually lead to complications in the Admit Card process. Following are the important details that the candidate should keep in mind:

  • The CUSAT CAT 2023 application form will be available online mode.

Step 1: CUSAT CAT 2023 Registration Process

  • Candidates have to register online by filling in personal details such as Name, Phone Number, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and e-mail ID.
  • A user ID and password are generated at this stage details for which are sent on email ID and mobile number.
  • Candidates are advised to change the allotted password.

Step 2: Fill CUSAT CAT 2023 Application Form

Detailed educational qualification, Date of Birth, Category of candidates, Nationality, Address, Annual Income of Parents, and other details are required to be filled in the application form. Candidates should fill in all the details carefully before submitting their CUSAT CAT 2023 Application form. Any incorrect information in the CUSAT CAT 2023 Application form can lead to the cancellation of the candidature.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

Candidates are required to upload photos and signature in the specifications given below:

  • The photograph should be of JPG file format of size 4 kb to 100 kb
  • The signature should be of JPG file format of size 4 kb to 30 kb.

Note: Photograph and image should not be blurred otherwise application form will be rejected by the exam conducting authorities.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the CUSAT CAT 2023 Application Fee online by opting for any of the three methods given below:

  • Net Banking

Candidates applying on the basis of GATE or any other management examinations must email their scores to helpdesk@cusat.nic.in before the online submission of CUSAT CAT 2023 Application form. CUSAT Eligibility Criteria

CUSAT CAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Cochin University of Science and Technology has defined the minimum eligibility criteria for CUSAT CAT 2023. On the basis of the category of the student concerned the criteria is given utmost importance for the students to follow and apply for courses, B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Phil, M.Voc, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc, B.A.LLB, LLM in different colleges across Kerala.

The eligibility criteria for UG Candidates for appearing in CUSAT CAT 2023 is given below:

  • Candidates are required to pass the 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university with the required subjects.
  • Aspirants must have scored at least 50% marks in their qualifying examination.
  • Candidates having any backlog in 10+2 are not eligible to apply.
  • Eligibility for a 3-year LLB course is that a candidate must be an employee of the Central Government and be staying within a radius of 30 km from CUSAT, Hikkake campus.
  • Section 2: Eligibility Criteria for PG Candidates for appearing in CUSAT CAT 2023 is given below:
  • Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in the required field.
  • The minimum mark required in a qualifying degree is at least 60%.
  • Note that the minimum marks required may differ for each course.

CUSAT Admit Card

CUSAT CAT 2023 Admit Card

The candidates after the successful completion of the registration process will be able to download the CUSAT CAT 2023 Admit Card from the university website. The admit card of CUSAT CAT 2023 is now released at the official website. It is very important for the candidates to take the printout of the concerned CUSAT CAT 2023 Hall Ticket, as without which the candidate won’t be able to enter the exam Centre.

CUSAT CAT 2023 Results

CUSAT CAT 2023 Results will be officially available for download on the 1st week of May respectively. On the basis of the scorecard, the candidate will secure admission to different colleges concerned across Kerala. The admission is strictly on the basis of the merit list and is different for the categories that the candidate falls under. CUSAT Cut Off

The cut-off is the minimum % of marks that the student requires to qualify for CUSAT CAT 2023. The admission and overall qualification of the candidate will be strictly on the basis of the Merit List. The cut-off is different for different streams. It is strictly based on the following parameters:

  • The difficulty level of the examination

CUSAT Counselling

CUSAT CAT 2023 Counselling Procedure

The candidates who qualify through CUSAT CAT 2023, will be called for the counseling procedure strictly on the basis of their merit score. The counseling process is scheduled to begin on the 1st week of June respectively. Candidates should keep in mind the following points while appearing for CUSAT CAT 2023 Counselling Process

  • Candidates are required to register themselves at the counseling venue.
  • CUSAT CAT 2023 qualified candidates will be allotted their preferred branches & colleges as per their rank in the merit list.
