The registration process for GMAT online is exactly the same as registration for GMAT offline version. The candidates first and foremost need to create an account in mba.com. Candidates here are advised to go for online registration for GMAT online, even though it is possible to book a test via phone.

By providing the details like the first name, last name, mail ID, and password, it is possible to register for GMAT. On providing all the details correctly and successfully, the candidates will be given the option to select exam dates for GMAT. Here the candidates may see only the available test dates as well in case the chosen date is already filled. Next, the candidates will select the test-taking time, and alike the date, the candidates may get only the available time slots only. After giving all the details and receiving all the required information, the candidates will get an option to confirm. After clicking on it, they will be directed to the page to make the payment via credit or debit card.

GMAT Online Registration Time

Candidates are allowed to register for GMAT 24x7. Unlike the GMAT test center version, it is possible to register for GMAT online only 24 hours before the test.

GMAT Online Registration Fees

To take GMAT online, the candidates are charged US$ 200. There was an application fee for GMAT rescheduling and cancellation previously. However, the conducting authority of GMAT had decided on a fee waiver due to the current Covid-19 situation.

Within the GMAT online registration charges, the charges for GMAT score sending are included. Previously, the candidates are allowed to send 5 destinations for free. It also meant the charge of sending the score to these 5 destinations was included in the GMAT registration fees. To send the score to more than these 5 destinations, the candidates were charged US$ 28. Right now, GMAC had offered the facility of free score sending to an unlimited number of destinations, that too without any charge. After making the payment, an auto-generated receipt will be mailed to the inserted mail ID of the candidate. On the test day, this document may be required for verification purposes.

Online GMAT is a proctored exam and the candidates will take this version from their comfort zones. As the GMAT online is equally accepted as the GMAT test-center version, GMAC has announced the system requirements, failing which the exam can be canceled too. So, the candidates need to go through the details of GMAT online before taking it.

At present, the test centers are reopening and they have the option to take the exam in the centers if they want. In case you are confused between GMAT online or GMAT test-center, we suggest you to analyze whether you can meet the technical specifications or not. GMAT online registration is easy and it is undoubtedly a great approach, but not all can meet its requirements. So, take a wise decision.

Ques. What is the percentile required to get into ISB Hyderabad?

● Top Answer By Akanksha Sharma on 30 Jan 23

In case you are enquiring about the CAT percentile let me clarify that ISB Hyderabad does not take into consideration CAT scores. It accepts GMAT/GRE scores only. Most importantly, the ISB Shortlisting process is profile-based. This means even with a lower percentile you can manage to get shortlisted provided you have an excellent profile. There is no fixed cutoff for GMAT. However, a 700+ GMAT score isn't a must-have for ISB if your application is strong in other areas. According to an ISB spokesperson, candidates were admitted to the 2021 cohort with scores as low as 580, and as high as 780. So the GMAT score range for ISB is 580-780....Read more

Ques. Does ISB Hyderabad need work experience apart from the GMAT score?

● Top Answer By Bejoy John on 30 Jan 23

Yes, ISB Hyderabad’s PGP program requires a minimum of 2 years of full-time paid work experience. This criteria came into force on 31st March 2016 and is still a necessity. For candidates who lack in this aspect, there is a back door entry called the Early Entry Option or the EEOs. Under this, you can apply right away, go through the selection process, and receive the admission offer but join only after working for 2 years. This can also be referred to as Deferred admission.  ...Read more
