Entrepreneurship has become a mature academic discipline. The UvA and Vrije Universiteit?Amsterdam have combined their expertise in this area to create an internationally relevant Master?s programme. This programme will expose you to two distinct academic cultures, which challenges you to look further and prepares you for the demands of entrepreneurial practice.?
This one-year programme takes a thorough look at three modes of entrepreneurship: new commercial ventures, entrepreneurial activities within organisations, and initiatives that solve social problems. You will look at the multidisciplinary aspects of entrepreneurship, its collaborative and social nature, and the many practical issues (e.g. finance) that influence it. Specialisation courses allow you to gain in-depth knowledge of entrepreneurship in specific contexts. The programme culminates in a thesis.
This programme is ideal?for enthusiastic and ambitious students from a diversity of backgrounds. You will acquire a solid foundation in academic research, cutting-edge theory and relevant research methodology. Simultaneously, you will sharpen your entrepreneurial skills and become an effective professional. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded the title of Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from both universities. This joint degree is recognised internationally.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized research university;
- Students should have at least 3.0-grade points.
- Submission of GMAT / GRE scores report.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Graduates of Indian central, state, or leading deemed and private universities.
- Applicants must have achieved a minimum cumulative 1st division or better across all years of their studies.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, tests required to study in Netherlands, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
