Er. R.K. Gupta has been serving as Chairman at Aryabhatta College of Engineering and Technology, Barnala since 2009. With extensive experience in management, insurance, and accounting, he possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decisions. He is an M.Tech IT & MBA with expertise in diverse disciplines of financial reporting and analysis, bank reconciliation and management. 

What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Establishing a proactive and result oriented working environment”

A leader must proactively intervene and work to design and provide the right kind of learning inputs as well as a healthy atmosphere to the members that would help in better outcomes. A well established and positive environment is necessary to gain results and achieve goals in an organization. 

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of industry?  

“Enhancing practical skills through on campus training programs”

We help students gain best of the practical skills and knowledge through our industry aligned curriculum. We offer a number of on campus training and project workshops throughout the year to ensure good hands on experience and skill enhancement among our students. Students are free to choose their elective subjects on the basis of their interest and work accordingly with the respective mentors. We are also offering multidisciplinary industrial training programmes along with placement opportunities.

What would be your college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“To discover full potential of students professionally and creatively”

We aspire to be a premier centre of education that provides an environment conducive to Learning and facilitates as a launchpad for students to discover their true potential. What do you think are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“Providing a healthy and positive learning environment”

It is very important to give a healthy learning space to students which help them to gain knowledge but also keep them ahead in learning and surpass leadership qualities and team management skills in them. We offer our students with different types of co-curricular activities to promote a positive and well established mindset both physically and emotionally.
