Jain Entrance Test (JET) is one of the popular entrance exams conducted for admission to various UG and PG courses offered by Jain University. In view of the pandemic, Jain University has decided to conduct the JET exam in online mode. Admission to all courses at Jain University is based on merit cum rank obtained by candidates in JET 2021.

The JET-2021 will be conducted in 2 phases in the month of May and June, 2021 (except for B.Tech and Design Program). Slot Booking for Online Written Test & PI will be open 7 days prior to the scheduled dates. The applicant can take up the online test followed by Personal Interview (PI).For B.Tech courses, application forms are released separately. JET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for JET 2021 is according to the norms of the Jain University. The eligibility criteria for various courses are stated below:

Bachelor of Technology (B Tech Course, Full time)

  • Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject
  • Obtained at least 60% marks in the above subjects taken together

UG Programs

  • Passed (or are awaiting results of) 10+2 exams in the respective stream from a recognized board.
  • Also, he/she must have secured at least 60% aggregate (5% relaxation for SC/ ST category) in the qualifying exam

PG Programs

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% in the qualifying exam.
  • Those applying for executive courses must have required work experience

JET 2021 Exam Pattern

JET 2021 Result

JET 2021 Result is declared soon after the exam is conducted. The results will be announced on the official website in the form of a rank list. The results of the exam for various programs can be checked using a few steps:

The drawing out of the merit list is subjective to the availability of seats for various courses. Candidates whose names are enlisted in the merit lists will be eligible for the further selection process.

JET 2021 Selection Process

Jain University will begin the selection process soon after the declaration of JET 2021 Result. It will be done on the basis of the applicants' performance in the entrance exam.

  • Qualifying candidates will be invited via email to appear for the counselling process (GD/PI) at the University. 
  • Students should be present in-person to attend the counselling round as per the schedule uploaded by the institute.
  • Aspirants will be given provisional admission based on the marks secured in the entrance test during the counselling process.
  • Such individuals will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination and other documents.

Candidates will have to produce the following original documents at the time of JET 2021 Counselling:

  • Class 10 & Class 12/ PUC/ SYJC/ Equivalent exam (Original +2 copies)
  • 10 passport size photographs along with 10 stamp size photographs
  • Transfer Certificate form college/ institute last attended (Original+ 2 copies)

Ans. If you come across this situation then you need to pay the fees again. In case you balance is deducted due to any technical failure then the same would be refunded to your account within 7 to 10 days. If you have made the payment through e-challan then you should quickly contact the concerned bank/branch.

Ques. What all documents need to be uploaded during JET 2021 Registration?

Ans. Candidates are required to upload a recent passport size photograph, signature, scanned copies of academic certificates of Class10 & 12 and graduation degree.
