Madras University Result 2023 (Released) @result.unom.ac.in: UG, PG Result Declared

Madras University Result 2023 has been released for UG / PG Professional Degree Exam September 2022. Students can check the official website for the direct link to download the result. Revaluation and improvement applications will be processed within 15 days of submission from the date of declaration of results.

Madras University conducts its exams semester wise. Students need to enter their roll number and semester exams in the online portal to check their results. Results are declared after 1 month of completion of exams. End-Semester exams are held after the end of each term, for the duration of 3 hours.

As per the latest updates, Madras University Notification has been released for UG, PG & Professional Degree for November 2021 Examinations Online Application for Arrear Candidates. This will be the last chance for students admitted in 2014-15 academic year. 

The evaluation is done thrice during each semester in the form of internal assessments. There are also 2 sessional tests and 1 end-semester examination in each semester. Students are required to secure a minimum of 50% marks in their end semester exams to get promoted in the subsequent semester.

Step 5 Click on the submit button, the result will be displayed on the screen.

Madras University Grading and Marking Scheme

A student has to secure a minimum of 50 percent of marks (Two sessional Tests marks plus End- Semester examination mark) in the course taken inclusive of soft skills, to pass in that course.

The term grading system indicates a Ten (10) points scale of evaluation of the performances of students in terms or marks, grade points, letter grade and Class.

The Controller of Examinations will accept the recommendations of the Dean (Academic)/Departmental/Class Committee in respect of the Final Results and will publish the same and issue Grade Cards to the Students within 2-3 weeks after the receipt of the results.

The performance of a candidate in a course will be indicated in a letter grade whereas grade point will indicate the position of the candidate in that batch of candidates. A student is considered to have completed a course successfully and earned the prescribed credits if he/she secures a letter grade other than RA. A letter grade RA in any course implies he/she has to Re-appear for the examination to complete the course.

The university accepts revaluation, retotalling and checking of answer scripts applications after the declaration of results. If any students aren't satisfied with the results, they will apply for the revaluation process within 15 days of the declaration of the result. 

The revaluation application is only valid for theory papers. The revaluation results are going to be published after a month of the application over the official website.
