New Delhi : On Thursday, October 20, the Banaras Hindu University has published the BHU UG 1st Merit List 2022. The merit list is available on the university's official website, bhuonline.in, for those who are interested in admission.

For a number of undergraduate programmes, including B.A. Social, Shastri, and Arts, the merit list and BHU first cut off list have been made public. 

Candidates must login with their application number and password in order to view and download the BHU UG round 1 merit list for BA programmes. It should be mentioned that BHU will soon publish the merit list for admission to its other UG programmes.

The first round cut off for general category candidates is 352 for BA Social, 165.6 for BA Shastri, 340 in FMC and 339 in MMV for BA Arts.

"Banaras Hindu University has released the first merit list for admission to undergraduate courses in the academic session 2022-23. The list has been published for admission in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Arts and Shastri. The list of other courses is also being released," BHU said in a tweet.

Candidates can check the BHU UG Round 1 Merit List by following the simple steps outlined below:

Step 1 - Go to BHU's official website, bhuonline.in.

Step 2 - Log in with the appropriate credentials (application number, password, and captcha code).

Step 3 - The candidate portal will appear on the screen.

Step 4 - Check the BHU UG first merit list.

Step 5 - Download the PDF and print it for future reference.
