I chose this course as I want to build a career in Literature and the University is quite reputed and has a good ranking. The faculty-student ratio is not adequate. It's 1:60 on average with some streams exceeding 70 students per teacher. The faculty has one good quality in common, they are all interested in teaching and good with it. The one quality that would have lighted it up as if they put in more effort to create an environment of learning and not provide just exam-centred structures. They are qualified teachers although these few years a lack of professors has made our college allow assistant professors to take up classes which is not the most amazing experience.
To get admitted to BHU for any course there is an entrance examination. Earlier BHU conducted its own entrance but from 2023 students have to clear the cut-off of the Central University Entrance Test(CUET) conducted by the Government for all Central Universities. One can find the entrance exam form, dates and fees with all the guidelines on the CUET website. I belong to the general category, therefore, I availed the girl student benefit. Other benefits can be availed by the respective categories on submitting the required proofs. The improvement most required is constant official news to be released on the website regarding the dates of results, counselling and the rest of the process. It should be completed within a stipulated time period. The management should handle the technical and other faults more effectively to save the students from stress and uncertainty.
I chose the course because I was interested in learning mathematics. The faculty-student ratio in the department of mathematics is approximately 20:1. The facilities here are highly qualified with all of them having a Ph.D. and are masters in their respective fields. The exams are conducted timely here every semester and results are published on time.
There was an entrance exam for this course named BHU UET. This exam was of 450 marks and divided into three sections physics, chemistry, and mathematics 150 marks each. The questions were of multiple choice types in which 3 marks were awarded for a correct answer and 1 mark was deducted for a wrong answer and no marks were awarded in case of an unattempted question. Anyone who has passed standard 12th and has 50% marks could have given the exam. There was a reservation for the EWS category and the cut-off for EWS was 189/450 and for general 208/450. The application form was on the official website www.bhuonline.in.
I chose chemistry honors because I have an interest in learning chemistry and it excites me very much. The faculty:student ratio is approximately 20:1. The professors here are highly qualified and all of them have done their post doctoral degree from foreign countries. The exams are well managed here and results are published on time. If you are an average student then you will not face any difficulty in passing the semesters.
There was an entrance exam for this university named as BHU UET which consists of 150 questions and 450 marks. The question paper was divided into three sections named Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each question was of 3 marks and one mark was deducted for a wrong answer.
The one who is interested in pure mathematics and wants to do PhD in mathematics should come here. The faculties here are very highly qualified and the faculty: student ratio is 20:1. The exams here are conducted timely and results are declared timely. The semester exams are not very difficult to pass and one can pass them by just studying one night before the examination.
I took admitted in 2020 and at that time the entrance exam was of a different pattern from what it is now. There were 150 questions for 450 marks. The name of the exam was BHU UET. Each question was of three marks and one mark was deducted for each wrong answer.
In 3rd year ( 6th sem), placement drives take place on campus. Those who take foreign languages like French, German, etc as honors are offered placements by various companies like Amazon, Reliance, Zomato, etc. There is a placement team which helps students find jobs and internships. Salary packages vary from 4-5 lakh p.a. But if you are pursuing UG courses in subjects like English, History, Geography, etc you usually don't get a chance for placement. I am pursuing B. A with English as honors. There was no official placement drive in my department and I intend to pursue a PG course in English.
The year I took admission i.e. 2020, BHU held its own UET(University Entrance Test) for UG & PG Courses. For BA (Hons) courses, you need to be 12th passed irrespective of stream. "bhuonline.in" is the official website of BHU, and there you can apply for various UG & PG courses. But Starting in 2021, admission to BHU is through the All India CUET (Central University Entrance Test). This means, Now you can apply for courses in BHU through CUET only.
I am interested in the psychology field mainly clinical psychology that's why, I opt for this course. The faculty is good. But some teachers teach only for completing their time in class. There is an IIT professor in our college and she is a very good teacher.
Offline Document verification must be on different dates for different courses because long queues are made there and we have to wait for an hour to get to the document verification Counter. Dates of Document verification must be announced at least 15 days prior. I am from Delhi and Getting train tickets was such a hassle at that time.
The placements are not so high from BHU but still, there are many edtech companies and coaching institutes which are interested in bhu msc mathematics students. The coaching institutes like Allen, Aakash, and resonance have shown their interest in a placement. Most students in Bhu prefer to pursue higher education in mathematics like a PhD. I am also planning to pursue PhD in mathematics.
For admission in the Msc-mathematics course, students have to clear cuet-pg exam conducted by NTA every year. The eligibility for BHU Msc-mathematics is 50% marks in B.Sc. (Hons)/B.Sc. (10+2+3) as well as at 10 & 10+2 examinations. The application can be found on the official website of NTA. generally, application forms start in March-April. All the reservations provided by the Indian government are available as well as 10% of seats are reserved for BHU old students.
My course- is Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology. BHU has the largest faculty strength (34) of AIHC in the whole nation. The student-teacher ratio is also good. And are quite easy to pass. Midterm exams and semester exams ate the two main tests.
I had my high school with Biology stream. I moved to BHU for a better hold in Arts. Eligibility of course - Class 12 from any recognized board. Application is streamlined by CUET- UG. Application fees are decided by NTA annually. Reservation- Seats are reserved for various categories. Physically challenged students compulsorily get a hostel. The admission process is good. But they should maintain regular contact with students while admission.
Actually from the 5th semester. We are the first batch, can only say after going through the process for the first time. It's not that you have to take a job in the course you are pursuing, placement cell has made a group & you can get many job offers & oppurtunities there & get selected. Min is 5 LPA. 80% placement occurs & rest goes for higher studies. I will be clearing CAT & take admitted to any of the B-Schools for an MBA in Hospital Management. But among the IIMs, only IIM Jammu offers MBA in hospital management. One can also pursue MBA in other streams.
10+2 Science ( PCB ) with a minimum of 50% overall & above 40% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology is the eligibility criteria. Through CUET-UG & conducted by NTA I availed EWS Quota ( which is applicable only for General Category ) No, the admission process is best
