Luther W. New Jr. Theological College, known as NTC, is a private, accredited Christian seminary in Dehradun. It offers various courses like BD, B.Th, B Miss, M Div and Mth. Admission to these courses is conducted through an entrance exam.

The college gauge student in terms of English, Biblical Knowledge and General Knowledge. Students also have to appear for an interview after the entrance exam. New Theological College Dehradun conducts entrance exams for the courses it offers. Students need to meet certain eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. The college checks biblical knowledge, English and General Knowledge in the entrance exam. Students need to apply for the entrance exam by filling out the application form uploaded on the university website.

The Bible and General knowledge shall be tested in a one sitting examination of three hours. The English examination shall be for two hours. However, the candidates applying for the BD or M.Div. programs after the successful completion of B. Th. are required to write a comprehensive examination in place of Bible Knowledge and General Knowledge, that covers areas of Biblical Studies, Theology, Ethics, Religion, History of Christianity, Christian ministry and Mission.

The entrance exam is conducted two times a year i.e. one in January and the other in May. The students should fill the form before 30^th November for the January exam and before 30^th March for May Exam. The result is declared on the university website after the conduction of the exam.
