What are your roles and responsibilities?

“To adjust my teaching techniques as per students needs and understanding”

Being a faculty of the computer science department, my responsibility lies in giving the best of technical knowledge to our students and keeping them updated with the latest trends in the software industry. For this, I need to keep myself acquainted and trained with the latest technological developments. Sometimes, I need to put some more effort when it comes to students who hail from rural backgrounds as they need basics from ground level in a language that they understand.

How do you establish healthy relations with students and fellow faculty?

“By giving them an environment of trust, respect and open communication”

To establish a good positive relationship with my students, I teach them with enthusiasm and passion which excites them to be active in the classroom. Patience, respect, trust and care are key techniques every teacher should possess so that students can query their doubts freely. The same thing goes with my fellow faculties. Adding humor in the class now and then, engaging students by assigning tasks, giving them proper guidance for the next part of life helps me to have a healthy relationship with them.

How a student could be benefited from studying here in your college?

“Our curriculum is comprised of world-class training programs”

We train our students with the latest technologies which are currently in demand in the market through various certification courses. Along with this, we give them personality development training such as speaking skills classes, group discussion, JAMS, paper presentation, so that they can perform well in job interviews and can get a placement as early as possible. Special training is being given to students who are having a Noncomputer background. Summer Internship in industries and numerous workshops are provided to students by Department. Department also provides collaborative interaction to students with Industry Experts.

What are some of the greatest strengths of your college?

“Our faculties and infrastructure are our main pillars of strength”

Our strength lies in our facilities ( who are well qualified and experienced), well-equipped and modern laboratories, excellent teaching-learning environment, placement records. In short, everyone who contributes to the daily smooth functioning of our institute makes us strong.

What challenges you are facing currently to uplift the quality of education in your institute?

“Handling students coming from rural areas along with making them attentive in the classroom”

The biggest challenge which we face is that many students come from rural backgrounds and sometimes it becomes difficult to adjust our teaching methodologies with them either due to communication gaps or cultural differences. Some other barriers are lack of genuine software, inadequate computers in the classroom, internet connectivity issues and maintaining students' attention while teachers integrate teaching with digital media.

How do you prepare your students to cope with this competitive world?

“By guiding them whenever required”

I keep motivating my students to face life challenges with a positive attitude and cheerful smile from the day they join our college. I also teach them to be disciplined and encourage them not to compare themselves with others. I guide them to be a leader and be in any position to work as a leader and not to get discouraged if they get a failure. Finally, I tell them to do yoga and meditation to reduce their stress.

What are your views upon the placement of students of your college?

“Our students secure 100% placement every year”

The tag line of our college is ‘Join as a student and leave as an employee’. Training and placement cell of our college plays a major role in branding the name of our college and our students are given proper training in aptitude, reasoning and soft skills by experienced trainers. Every year companies like TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS recruit maximum students from our college.

How do you train your faculty as per the latest industry standards?

“Special training is arranged for them”

We always thrives to give the best to our faculties so that they could meet the expectations of students. We keep arranging workshops in the college itself and invite industry experts to give them the training they need practically to acquaint themselves with new subjects or technologies.

Any valuable advice you would like to give to current youths and aspiring students?

“Be fearless and respect everyone”

I would advise current youth students to be cautious in all aspects of shaping their life. The students should come out of their comfort zone and do hard work to achieve their dreams. Moral values are more important than education, so they should balance both of these to get success in their life. Stay away from Social media. Respect your parents, faculty and others as well.
