It appears that, taking a page from the National Education Policy, institutions have started to develop a wide variety of programmes to offer students. One such school that purports to provide such a service is FOSTIIMA Business School. Anil Somani, executive chairman, FOSTIIMA Business School, told FE Education that a student interested in marketing can also choose to study finance, human resources, operations, analytics, marketing, or any other topic that matches with her interests. "If you're in human resources or advertising, it's important to stick to what you know. Yet, he continued, "to grow in an organisation, it is vital to have a wide awareness of all the functions involved in running the organisation.

The Institute states that taking this course will prepare students to work in a variety of departments after graduation. The usual student spends the first year of these 22-month specialisation programmes on a common course of study, and then devotes the second year to specialisation and subject-matter choices. Marketing, Human Resources (HR) operations and analytics, Financial Management, and Global Business are the five core areas of expertise we provide. So, there are ten possible combinations from which a pupil can pick, as stated by Somani.

The business school also boasts that it offers merit-based scholarships and scholarships for members of economically disadvantaged groups. To help students in need as much as possible, "along with granting scholarships, we are adopting a postponement policy for students having financial challenges in paying our tuition," Somani said.

The institute also provides additional courses, such as a post-graduate certificate. The AICTE recognises and approves our Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme as our flagship programme. Also, we provide a number of areas of expertise, including marketing, finance, IV, operations, analytics, and human resources," he continued. The school reportedly asks for Rs 8.95 lakh for a 24-month course. The business school advertises that it offers a lodging option for an extra Rs 10,000 per month.
