What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

I am presently working as Head of Department and as a Lecturer of Physics in DPG Degree College. And as much as I have observed the education sector, digital technologies have changed a lot of things and nowadays only being able to read and write is simply not enough. And the major factor which keeps me intacted in the education sector is its dynamic and challenging nature and limitless learning opportunities it offers to us, because to deliver best to students I need to continuously upgrade my skills and knowledge. nature of the education sector. 


What is your philosophy of leadership?

"Leadership is all about empowering your team with best opportunities to achieve common goals"

I firmly believe that a Leader is a calm, confident and positive person who knows how to accomplish tasks by taking the lead, bringing everyone together on the same platform and utilizing their skills in the best possible way. Also, being a leader, it is important to establish best principles and ethical values in a team or an organization as this helps people to adjust fastly in a different culture and also sets the tone for autonomy.


What do you think should be your college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

"We should emphasize on introducing new courses related to Aeronautical, Aviation and Healthcare"

Along with this changing dynamic world, demands of education and the corporate sector are also evolving day by day and Academic Advisors have highlighted that Aeronautics and Aviation Technology, Pharmacology and Health Technology are some of the top majors which will be in high demand in upcoming time due to the growing need for professionals in these sectors worldwide. Hence our priority in upcoming years would be to include all these courses in our curriculum and update our education delivery models as well.


What would you like people to know about your University that makes it unique from others?

"Our university is doing amazing research projects and we as an affiliated college are also on same path"

I feel proud to tell you that our university is performing outstandingly and doing wonders in the research and development area. And we along with other affiliated colleges are doing our best to conduct amazing research projects and stay in sync with industrial world development and market demands so that we can provide the best education and exposure to our young minds.


What changes would you like to see in upcoming times for higher education institutions?

"Universities should release more funds to college to establish and improve their infrastructure"

I believe Universities should issue more funding for research projects and grant sufficient finance to associated private colleges for establishing world class labs and library infrastructure.

What do you see as your college’s greatest strengths?

In my opinion, the first-class infrastructure and modernized laboratories of our college are our greatest strengths. And other things which make us strong are definitely the decent salary college offers to its teachers and staff and financial assistance and grants we receive for our research and development projects.


What major changes Covid-19 has brought in the education sector according to you?

"Covid for sure had deteriorated the education sector and students interest towards studies"

The COVID-19 pandemic had a severe impact on higher education as universities closed their premises and countries shut their borders in response to lockdown measures. And even though higher education institutions were quick to switch from physical classes to online mode of teaching-learning methodologies, these lockdowns have impacted the examination results, understanding and learning capabilities of students and have also destroyed their focus. Lastly, the safety and legal status of international students in their host country was also struck down.


How does your college prepare students for the placement?

"We make our students placement ready through rigorous training programs and workshops"

Our college has established an amazing Training and Placement Cell whose sole purpose is to maintain strong relations with reputed organizations and conduct workshops, personality development training programs and industry connect sessions on a regular basis to educate students about the latest developments and requirements of the industrial world and how people and processes work together to fulfill a goal. Beside this, TPC is also responsible for providing suggestions for the curriculum and education delivery process of our college.


How is your relationship with the students of your college?

"My relationship with my students are very good"

My relationship with all my students is very cordial, collaborative, respectful and trustworthy and I am always there to help them in case they face any academic or non-academic issues. 


Being the Associate Professor, what are your roles and responsibilities for the students of your institute?

"I am responsible to ensure best education, amenities and exposure for students to make them society ready"

As an Associate Professor, the scope of my responsibilities is very wide and I am responsible to deliver the best quality education to students and ensure they grow on both personal and professional fronts. Apart from this, I am trying my best to make amazing creators and testers out of our students along with making them industry and society ready. 


Are there any specific challenges which your college students are facing right now?

"Our students sometime find it difficult to stay in sync with changing technologies and make new friends"

Our college students are facing some challenges at the Academic as well as on social level. And if I talk specifically about Academic level issues, they struggle a lot to become independent learners and organize one's own time. While at the social level, they find it difficult to make new friends and adapt themselves to new cultures and customs.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in your institute?

"By being a transparent and trustworthy communicator and honest listener for students and teachers"

For the purpose of maintaining a good relationship with my students and fellow Faculties and also to offer them an amazing working-learning culture, I ensure to have respectful, transparent, honest and cheerful communication with them on a regular basis. In addition to this, our problem solving attitude makes our college environment happy and friendly.


Any suggestions which you would like to give to the youths of our society?

I firmly believe that youths of our society are the power, wealth and future of our nation. Also no segment in the society can match the power, idealism, enthusiasm and courage that young minds of our society helds.
