Dr. B. Sangeetha has been working hard and striving for a magnanimous academic track since 2006. As of efforts drawn, she has earned knowledge to the levels of shining peaks in various directions academically. She has dual degrees as well as a Master's degree until she reaches her prestigious Doctorate. She has been working in PSR Law college for over 16 years. She has studied at Siddhanta Law College, Vijayawada, and subsequently completed her LLM at Osmania university. She is an Alumnae of Nagarjuna University. She has worked as Assoc. Professor. She was appointed as the first Women Principal in P.S.R. Law College, in the year 2019. Her administrative experience has been for over two and half years.

Here, at PSR law college our vision and mission are not that much different from each other. Our primary mission is to ensure every student gets the basics right of education and vision is that they learn that through a mix of both theoretical learning and practical learning with a great degree of emphasis on practical methods.


What are the roles and responsibilities of an educational leader?

Apart from building the capacity of the educators,the main role of an educational leader is to ensure and affirm that programs and practices are not only relegated to traditional pedagogy. But it includes a good deal of self-inquiry and self-learning which enables a holistic approach towards learning and helps in not only professional development but also in personal development.


How do you make the Course Curriculum industry-oriented?

“Providing the students with facilities like Industrial Visits, Industrial Talks, etc”

The curriculum at our college does not override theoretical knowledge and an industry-oriented curriculum needs the students to be equipped with not only the skills for employment but also with the right attitude and a work ethic. While ensuring that they receive their fundamentals we try to incorporate methodologies that are based on innovation and current trends in the industry.Depending on the task at hand a student in the future should be ready to work with a team or alone so we are proud that our curriculum inculcates the culture of teamwork and ensures that even when they work on an individual basis they possess the same tools to deal with any eventuality.

How would a pandemic affect the upcoming educational trends?

“To ensure continuous education for students even during the pandemic and coming years” 

The pandemic has disrupted a lot of things and among them is education. Whether one likes it or not the demand for distance education is here to stay along with it comes the challenges of creating, maintaining, and improving methodologies of distance learning and also the challenge of measuring and validating the learnings of an individual from a distance learning. The near future is going to be dominated by distance education and the renewed effort to find a method that measures individuals' learnings without the traditional patterns of examination.


How do you inform the students about the new updates regularly?

“To focus on the detailed digital marketing strategies”

Due to the pandemic, every method of communication had to be moved to online platforms and currently, we predominantly depend on messaging apps and emails to ensure that students are up to date.


How do you ensure the flow of education in your organization?

“To bridge the gap between the practical and theoretical skills of students”

 In our organization we try to ensure a healthy mix of top-down learning and also bottom-up learning that we achieve through a mix of two parts teaching and one part interaction between faculty and the students. That is how we ensure a healthy flow of education in our institution.


What is your vision for the Institute for the next 10 years?

“To ensure improvement in Academic Performance by offering high-quality education”

The college's priority over the next 10 years would be to lay a greater emphasis on personalized education and personalized learning because due to pandemics we are going to see gaps in an individual's education. To address these educational gaps a personalized approach to teaching is required for every individual so that would be the priority for the next 10 years for our college.

Not only what students have learned is important but also the process through which they have learned is equally important. Therefore, they should also focus on the style of their learning and improve it on the regular basis.Last but not least, Students should learn to relax. We are here to help students.
