What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“To understand the insights of younger minds”

I invite delegates and experts from reputed organizations to deliver lectures on the recent developments in my profession which forms a chain system for the exchange of technical developments and innovations. I encourage the students to carry on extensive research work to develop new formulations. I organize National Level Seminars and Staff Development Programs at our institution for the exchange of knowledge. Thus, I keep in constant contact with the education sector and also with our Alumni who are positioned at various levels in reputed organizations.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Good and open communication for participative decision making”

A good educator must be a good communicator and possess the qualities of creativity and innovation. A good teacher must have a passion for teaching. I encourage all my staff to follow such type of teaching and act as a team leader to discuss & invite others opinions to offer quality in education.

Being the Principle, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“Good administration with the proper usage of the digital era and activity-based system”

Administration means guidance, leadership & control of the efforts of the groups towards some common goals. Whereas, management involves conceiving, initiating, and bringing together the various elements; coordinating, actuating, integrating the diverse organizational components while sustaining the viability of the organization towards some predetermined goals. However, the top officials devote more time to an administrative function. Thus, by coordination and cooperation, I try to achieve the determined goals at the earliest.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“Connecting with several universities to expand the exposure of international education”

Given India’s tremendous size, the number of international students in India is still very small—the country has a minuscule inbound mobility rate, one of the lowest rates in the world. However, the number of foreign degree-seeking students to India has grown owing to enrollments from developing countries in South Asia and Africa, as well as Middle Eastern countries like Iran or Yemen. By utilizing the expertise of the reputed professionals in our field, I am heading to attract foreign students to enroll in our institution.

How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of the industry?

“Offering several activities based learning criteria to prepare students for being industry ready”

Curriculum planning involves the implementation of different types of instructional strategies and organizational methods that are focused on achieving optimal student development and student learning outcomes. Instructors might structure their curriculum around daily lesson plans, a specific assignment, a chunk of coursework, certain units within a class. During the curriculum planning phase, teachers consider factors that might complement or hinder their lesson curriculum. These include institutional requirements. Each teacher at a college will have guidelines, principles, and a framework that they are required to build out their curriculums.

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

“The institute promotes the unity in diversity among the students connected to our institute”

Colleges are spending a notable amount of time and money in their recruitment efforts, promoting not only academic programs but also University culture, values, and overall students’ experience. The present scenario aims to understand the factors that influence students to enroll in a particular college. It is based on how a college presents itself on social media, Facebook, or other means of advertisement to spread awareness about the college mission and vision, Profile of the faculty, infrastructural facilities available and programs offered. Based on these findings only we can attract a major number of students.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the Institute and the students are?

“Numerous arena of responsibilities come with the position as the Principal of an institute”

The role of the principal covers many different areas including leadership, teacher evaluation, and student discipline. Being an effective Principal is hard work and is also time-consuming. A good principal is balanced within all his / her roles and works hard to ensure that he/she is doing what he/she feels is best for all elements involved. Time is a major limiting factor for every Principal. A Principal must become efficient at practices such as prioritizing, scheduling, and organization.

When you first came to this college, what was your vision for the university? Has it evolved, and how far along in implementing that vision?

“Education system needs enhancement for perpetual development and growth of the students”

I felt that this traditional system of teaching should be eradicated and thought-provoking education is implemented in the classrooms. Utilizing the earlier system, we can’t judge the grasping power of the students. That’s why I introduced the Question & Answer learning whereby I came to an understanding to what extent the students have learned the subject and also to what extent I can deliver the subject matter to the students. This has been ever successful.

What would you like people to know about your institute they may not know?

“The infrastructure we offer to make learning more enriching is one thing people aren’t aware of”

As our college is located in a semi-urban remote area on a fifty-acre campus, most people are not aware of its existence even though it is appraised by the statutory bodies as one of the premier colleges in our state. Hence I wish to propagate about our college through our Alumni settled in India and Overseas.

What do you see as the greatest strengths of your college?

“The well-equipped laboratories and facilities to provide the foremost learning and education”

Our college has State-of-the-art facilities with air-conditioned laboratories with sophisticated equipment, a Library with abundant storage of books, National and International Journals, Animal house approved by the Government to conduct extensive research work – all headed by experienced and dedicated qualified staff holding Doctoral degrees in their relevant fields.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for your Institute specifically?

“The lack of accessibility to quality education in the Nation to our students”

Goals to increase the number of colleges and universities in India over the years are intended to open the doors of opportunity to an ever-growing student population. But the students who have completed higher education are not able to enter into a responsible job due to a lack of opportunities. It is because of the unemployment prevailing in India. Therefore, student’s enrollment in foreign universities is increasing by leaps and bounds year after year. Besides, the students must explore the potential of entrepreneurship and innovation to attain monetary benefit for themselves and as well as to the Nation.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Be innovative and creative in your work to attain accomplishment”

Opt for the right place for the right education. Be creative and innovative. Begin entrepreneurship to give employment to many others like you. Choose the right path to reach your goal.

What are some plans that you’re currently (or will be) designing for your Institute and/or students?

“The association with several organizations for experiential learning”

We have entered into an MoU with reputed organizations for exchange of technical skills and knowledge. Our students will be offered industrial training and internship. Our teaching faculty will be invited to their organizations to make them familiar with the functioning of the latest equipment available there. Likewise, they will send their bulk drugs to our college for evaluation of the content.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“Open communication to develop a hospitable environment in the institute”

We provide a distinctive educational environment that enables young persons to grow in intellectual capacities of wide dimensions. We create an atmosphere conducive to innovative teaching and a rich range of learning. The healthy atmosphere between the teacher and the student facilitates them to work for a longer time in the college than prescribed and also provides easy access to the student for clarification of any doubt at any time.
