Preparations Tips for Maths Section

VITEEE 2020 Preparation Tips for Mathematics Section

Strategic Preparation is very important to qualify VITEEE. Before starting preparation for the VITEEE Mathematics, candidates should divide their time according to listed topics.

  • Analytical Geometry Of Three Dimensions - This is one of the most important topics of mathematics. It is the study of geometry using a coordinate system. It is time consuming section. The questions of this section are based on graphs. To prepare for this section, candidates should try to make graphs.
  • Complex Numbers – A complex number is a number that can be expressed in the form a + bi, where A and B are real numbers and ‘i’ is the imaginary unit. The questions of this section will be based on graphs and formulas.
  • Differential Calculus – Differential calculus is a subfield of calculus concerned with the study of the rates at which quantities change. It is one of the two traditional divisions of calculus, the other being integral calculus. This section is also is about calculation and graphs.
  • Integral Calculus – This level of this section is moderate. Candidates can save their time in this section. In mathematics, an integral assigns numbers to functions in a way that can describe displacement, area, volume, and other concepts that arise by combining infinitesimal data.
  • Trigonometry - Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that studies relationships involving lengths and angles of triangles. The questions in this section are based on a pie chart. The level of these questions is easy. Candidates can score better in this section.
  • Limits and Continuity – This section is based on formulas and graphs. To qualify this section candidates to need a lot of practice but they can save their time in this section. In mathematics, a limit is a value that a function or sequence "approaches" as the input or index approaches some value. Limits are essential to calculus and are used to define continuity, derivatives, and integrals.
  • Matrices and Determinants – This is quite a tough and time consuming section. To solve the questions of this section candidates should be perfect in the formulas. A matrix is defined as an ordered rectangular array of numbers. They can be used to represent systems of linear equations.
  • Probability Distributions – This is time consuming section but the level of this section is quite easy. The questions asked in the section are based on theory and formulas. Candidates can easily get a better score in the section. In probability theory and statistics, a probability distribution is a mathematical function that, stated in simple terms, can be thought of as providing the probability of occurrence of different possible outcomes in an experiment.
  • Vector Algebra - This is also time consuming section. Applicants have to make graphs in this section. In mathematics and linear algebra, vector algebra refers to algebraic operations in vector spaces. Most commonly, it refers to operations on Euclidean vectors.
