There are 4-year B.E/B. Tech and 5-year dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering courses at IIT Bhubaneswar. The cutoff varies depending on the course and caste of students. Both Mechanical engineering and computer science engineering are two different fields of study so it’s difficult to select an institute over the other.

On the basis of NIRF (National institution ranking framework score) Rankings, IIT Bhubaneswar comes under the top 20 IITs in India. Whereas in NIT Andhra, there are less than 15 faculty members but the infrastructure is quite good. The laboratories for CSE are also pretty good which consist of Artificial intelligence lab, data analytics lab, and Enterprise app development lab. Top companies like Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. visit during campus placement and offers an average salary package up to 5.87 lakh per annum.
