The institute is autonomous, and the quality of education, assignments, and projects has been improved over the years. The placements for the CSE branch are promising. All the companies allow CSE students to sit for campus placement. Recently, JP Morgan came to the campus in the sixth semester and offered packages of around INR 6 LPA. Therefore, placement would not be a problem.
All the students across all branches get placed in at least one company. Most students get placed in Accenture, Infosys, HPE, Continental Automotive, Moog, EY, UHG, Dell, JP Morgan, Oracle, Tally, Cognizant, and more. All of these have recruited CSE students in the past.

IIT Hyderabad CSE will be a better choice. CSE graduates from IITH received great placements with cushy salary packages. If you don’t have an inclination towards any specific branch, go for CSE.
During 2022 placements, IIT Hyderabad CSE average package was INR 17.54 LPA. While the highest CTC stood around INR 46 LPA.
What is the average package for students of CSE at PES University?
The average placement package for CSE students at PES University according to my friends, ranges from INR 10-11 LPA. This was for the year 2020 during which many companies revoked their offers made to the students or reduced salaries owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.
- About 80% of the students get placed within 2-3 months of the start of the placement season.
- More than 10 LPA average CTC is offered in the CSE department alone.
- For the year 2019, more than 120 students have got more than INR 10 LPA as fixed compensation.
- Though their overall CTC can be much higher just like Microsoft which offers INR 39 LPA as CTC only INR 12 LPA is the actual salary.

Deloitte offered a package of INR 6.5 LPA and it took more than 90 students where all the branches were eligible. So you can say that this is an average package for all the B.Tech students. This would be much higher for CSE students, while less for other branches.

How much should I score to get CSE in NIT Goa? I belong to the general EWS category, outside Goa, and am a girl.

According to IET Lucknow placement highlights, CSE students receive salary packages in the range of INR 5-12 LPA. Top MNCs like Google, Amazon, etc. recruit from the campus drive. Students also perform well in competitive examinations such as GATE, CAT, etc.
You will have the option to prepare for JEE while attending IET as well.
Which is better for CS ,CUSAT or tkm?
CUSAT and TKM both take students based on CET. Students always land in confusion between these two. CUSAT also admits students based on the KEAM score. Being a student of CUSAT, I can say it is better than TKM in several ways.
