Although comparing two colleges in the same league is difficult, I believe I can answer this question because my brother is an IIT Bhubaneswar student and one of my close friends is an IIIT Vadodara student. Both colleges have their advantages, but there must IIIT Bhubaneswar has a slight edge.

IIIT Vadodara's status appears to be stagnant, as it does not have good infrastructure. It also does not have its own campus. IIT Bhubaneswar, on the other hand, has its own campus. Despite the fact that the land area is small, the infrastructure is modern and adequate. Single room hostels are also available. In fact, IIIT Bhubaneswar has separate classrooms for all branches for each batch of students. This is significant because infrastructure is extremely important in engineering colleges.

When it comes to faculties, it's almost the same everywhere.

According to statistics, IIIT Bhubaneswar's placements appear to be better as well. Here are the recent placement statistics for the institutes.
