Is LPU or Chennai Institute of Technology good for the CSE group?

Engineering at LPU Jalandhar has been ranked 87th among the Indian institutes by NIRF, while the Chennai Institute of Technology, Kundrathur is ranked 104th in India in the same category by Times Engineering Rankings. Both colleges are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

• At LPU, admission is given through counseling based on marks obtained in Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST)/JEE Mains. Candidates who have an aggregate of over 90% in 10+2 examination or 90%ile in JEE Mains need not appear for the entrance test.
• At the Chennai Institute of Technology, admission is through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling guidelines based on marks obtained in class 12th final examination.
