B.E in CSAI+ML, RVCE bangalore

CSE at PES University is better. In terms of placements, it is much better. Many reputed companies and start-ups take part in PES University placements. The CSE department bags the most numbers of placement offers. The placement average for the branch is around 90-95%. The highest CTC for the branch goes up to INR 35 LPA. The list of top recruiters for the institute includes Goldman Sachs, Mahindra, Deloitte, Cisco, Amazon, etc.

Both PES University and BMSCE are one of the prestigious colleges in India for Engineering. Both of them provide a B.E degree in Computer Science. Both have been established at almost the same time, and as far as the Computer Science department is concerned both of them are great in terms of academic quality.

Admission: PES offers a BTech whereas BMSCE offers a BE degree in CSE. Both the colleges consider the marks of KCET or CET and the 12th marks for creating the merit list. The minimum eligibility requirement is 60% in class 12th with a good Karnataka CET score to get admission to both of these colleges.

Cut off the rank for CSE at these institutes are as follows.

  • PES University - 503 in KCET

  • BMSCE- 444 in KCET

The annual course fee for CSE at PES University and BMSCE is 3.3 Lakhs and 2.29 lakhs respectively.

Placements: Both of these colleges have a similar reputation and are visited by the same companies every year, but PES University is located in Bangalore which is a hub of CSE. So the Internship Opportunities and the exposure provided there are a bit better than the BMSCE.

BMS College of Engineering-

  • The highest CTC offered was INR 40 Lakhs per annum, while the average package was 7 lakhs per annum.

  • Almost 249 Companies visited the campus which included Aditya Birla group, PARLE, Microsoft, Pfizer, Cipla, Himalaya, Infosys, HP, LG, Agron, and many more.

PES University-

  • There were almost 56 participants in the campus placement with top recruiting companies like Deloitte, Amazon, JP Morgan, LinkedIn, Flipkart, Tech Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, Cleartrip, Intel, etc.

  • The highest package offered was 48 lacs per annum while the average package offered was 6.8 lacs per annum.

PES University is more expensive than BMSCE. However, the infrastructure and facilities provided for CS at PEC are better as compared to the BMSCE.bmcse
