How are the placements in IIT Gandhinagar?

Having talked to some of the folks from my senior batches about placements, it is proved that they are doing well. Many of them got placed in the L&T firm and the meager package it provides. The brightest of the batch in Mechanical Engineering who joined L&T and he didn’t crib a bit about it because it is all about initial exposure before you can climb up the ladders of the corporate job.

A batchmate of mine has got into the likes of the top-paying firms such as ITC but worked even harder after that, rather than bask in the glory. The alumni of IIT Gandhinagar are folks who work hard to create multiple companies. One of them keeps on winning innovation awards in the firm the other got a wonderful offer from a startup. Even many of my batchmates have struggled all odds to create a significant impact in not just their lives but also in other's lives as they chose to ‘act’ and work towards their ‘passion’. 

Like this, there are ample examples of students from IIT Gandhinagar, from every batch. The hardships that were faced by the pioneer batches will not be even believed by the newer students. Yet they chose to celebrate and work towards the IIT Gandhinagar brand rather than crib about it.

It has been 2.5 years now since our batch graduated, So, providing you with some of the basic information on recent placements for further details you can approach fourth-year students who are currently studying there. Genuinely, this answer shouldn't be your only decision-making data point. Consult with others and then make an informed decision.
