B.Tech Chemical Engineering, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat

Shrinivas Arkatar sir from the Civil Engineering department is quite famous among students. He has in-depth knowledge about transportation. He has a unique way of setting questions. The questions usually have all the required formulas but it's so mindful that most students get confused.

Amit Solanki sir is also quite reputed among the Civil students. His teaching style is unique. He has a way of connecting things from day-to-day life to the subjects he teaches.

Students also love attending the lectures of YD Patil Sir, C.D. Modhera Sir, Praveen Rathod Sir.

At SVNIT, most of the good faculties are in the mechanical department. Some of them are Dr. S.A.Channiwala, Dr. H.B.Naik, Dr. P.V.Bhale, and Dr. Joy Banerjee.

My sister has recently graduated from SVNIT and as per her experience, the dean of the college Dr. D.V Rao is the best. He has done B-tech with First class and distinction along with Mitch with a GPA of 9.2 from IIT-BHU and Ph.D. from BITS Pilani. He was a HOD and Dean of various other colleges before joining SVNIT and was HOD of the Mechanical department at SVNIT and right now he is the Dean of academics. He has written 269 research publications, 86 international journals, 24 national journals, participated in 115 international conferences and 44 national conferences.

Some of the other good faculties are Meghal A Desai at the Chemical engineering department, Dr. Prasanta Kundu at the Electrical engineering department, Shrinivas Akhtar sir in the Civil engineering department. All the above faculties are highly recommended by the students. Along with their guidance and your focus you will surely reach your goal.
