The lectures are enough for understanding the courses and you would not even need to take help from tuitions. Professors explain the topics in an easier way so that you can easily grasp their subject matter.
However, when it comes to attendance, you are required to maintain a 75% attendance. The professors are not lenient if the students miss the classes. The same goes with the assignments and presentations which need to meet the deadline. Delaying your submissions would only bring you in a tough position.
A relative of mine used to be a student of BIT Mesra. She and a number of her peers have chosen Mr. Anup Kumar Keshri to be the best professor at BIT Mesra.
He is thankful to Professor Choudhary for teaching him the ‘Language of Engineers’, on which Professor Keshri did the paper in 1996. He did not have to refer to any textbook for preparing himself for the paper. He wishes to be a teacher like Professor Choudhary.
Haldia Institute of Technology will be of no help to you if you dream to be the best at coding and be proud of yourself as a CSE graduate in the future.

Although IIIT Hyderabad has many excellent professors. But there is one professor, who is a pure gem. He can actually change the way you look at and solve Mathematics. He is none other than Dr. Kannan Srinathan. His ever-smiling face and his ability to simplify even the most complicated concepts in a much simpler way will surely make you fall in love with Discrete Mathematics, the course he mastered in.
Yegnanarayana is also quite popular among students. He teaches Speech Signal Processing and Artificial Neural Networks. He prepares for his lectures for 2 hours, although he has been teaching for 40 years.
According to one of my friends, who is an alumnus of IIT Madras, it is Prof. C Balaji from Mechanical Engineering Department.
He is an amicable person and is very understanding towards students. In fact, he is the coolest professor that you will ever meet. You can give him thousands of reasons for being late to the class or feeling sleepy during the lectures and yet, he will listen calmly and try understanding your problem. He will rather crack a joke on it.
You can share anything with him without any second thought. He will attentively listen to it and give you some valuable feedback. It is pretty evident from this that he is more of a friend than a professor.
My friend studied at MIT in 2013 and he says there are many reputable names from different departments like Prof. K Jeyaraman in the Aeronautical Engineering department, or Dr. PK Kanagasabapathy from the Instrumentation Engineering department, or Dr. A Rajadurai who was the former dean of MIT- he was an expert in Metallurgy and is one of the best professors owned by MIT.
Nevertheless, because my friend has his personal favorites, I'd write about them here -
There have been innumerable instances where my friend was guided and helped by prof KVN.
He had been a professor, friend, and guide to my friend.
To become an assistant professor at IIT Ropar you must first obtain a PhD. This is the minimum eligibility criteria for any IIT to apply for the post of assistant professor.
Then you will have to compete with many other candidates and to stay above the competition you will need to have an outstanding academic career throughout.

This is a suggestion beyond the scope of this question. But if you can start low in a company and struggle for 2-3 years, I believe that you can land a more lucrative and satisfying job later on. Doing an M.Tech and then a Ph.D. will take a very long time.
