• The first batch of this institute has passed out in 2019, so there are no such statistics about placements, but it has the Indian Institute tag so it will definitely attract some reputed companies to visit the campus especially from the IT sector. The average CTC offered is 5 LPA.
• But in this college there have been some issues about ILP (Inner Line Permit), so keep this in mind before taking admission to this college. 
• IIIT Manipur has been very promising in sports and the students of this college have bagged various medals and awards in many intercollegiate competitions. 

Hence, Assam University will be a good option in terms of academics and infrastructure but in terms of sports and placements, IIIT Manipur will be a better option as this institute will beat Assam University in terms of placements over the coming years.
