What is the difference between BE and B.Tech?
The fundamental difference between BE and BTech is the way these courses are delivered. Contrary to the popular misconception, BE isn’t just theory oriented. Both BE and BTech coursework includes theory as well as practicals. But a BTech offers a more in-depth and advanced level study of a particular field. While BE covers the fundaments.
There are no such differences between BE and BTech, other than the course pattern. These two courses are considered equivalent. In terms of preference, your institute will matter more compared to your degree. IIT students certainly enjoy some advantages in terms of placements and higher studies.

What are the minimum passing marks at RGPV University for the BE program?
When it comes to B.E program, there are typically two papers that you will have to deal with at RGPV University: theory and practical. The theory paper usually accounts for 70 marks, and in order to pass it, you will need to score at least 22 marks. The current rule is that, if you get 40 marks overall (Internal + external) then you will pass whereas the internal assessment is on 30 marks.

If you are expecting 70 marks out of 80 in your final semester, you will be disappointed as you will get average marks like 40-50. This negligence in proper checking reduces the marks, and everybody scores an average mark.
Do not leave any question unanswered, as attempting it might fetch you 2-3 marks. It is said that the theory papers are scored by only checking the length of the answer.
