What is the ranking of IET lucknow in India?

HC
Harsh Chandak Posted On : August 3rd, 2021
Completed B.Tech from Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow in 2020

Enough has been said about how enviable the rankings of IET Lucknow are. The atmosphere of IET Lucknow is just as good as the atmosphere of the IITs and the NITs.

  • Students of IET Lucknow have gone through a phase called the ‘IIT Preparation Phase’.
  • They prepared for IIT but sadly could not make it, so chose IET as a 2nd option.
  • This makes them quite capable in their academics.
  • While attending the fests held by the IITs and NITs the students of IET Lucknow engage in conversations with the students of the previously mentioned institutes.
  • IET follows more or less the same pattern of syllabus followed by the IITs and the NITs.

The quality of education that is offered by IET Lucknow is better than other renowned institutes like HBTI. A lot of the students have ended up getting employed in government jobs such as railways, PSUs, power sector. They have qualified for their GATE exams with a good rank.

How prestigious is JBIMS as a college when we look at all of the India rankings? It doesn’t have very good ranks when I Google the best MBA colleges in India. Is NMIMS better than JBIMS?

YV
Yashluv Virwani Posted On : February 28th, 2023
Post Graduation in Master of Business Administration Degrees & Marketing, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (Graduated 2018)

JBIMS' overall ranking on Google is impacted by its infrastructure, as the current building is a 1965 construction. However, the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility at Kalina is underway, which will improve JBIMS' ranking in terms of infrastructure.

In terms of return on investment, JBIMS stands out as you pay only 2 lakhs for the entire course and receive an average placement package of 18 LPA. This is a better return than many other top B-Schools, including some IIMs.

JBIMS boasts a strong alumni network, industry-expert faculty, and an ideal location, which are all factors that contribute to its success.

When comparing JBIMS to NMIMS, it can be said that JBIMS is a better choice, with a lower fee structure, a better return on investment, a strong alumni network, and a more experienced faculty. Additionally, JBIMS has a smaller batch size of 120 students, which makes it easier for the college to place its students in top companies.

Why is PEC losing its good ranking? Is it true that NIT Jalandhar will cross it within a few years?

VS
Vanash Sikka Posted On : December 2nd, 2022
B.Tech. in Electronics and Engineering, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (NITJ) (Graduated 2020)

PEC's previous director wasn’t a very good educationist. The infrastructure, curriculum and the extracurriculars suffered under his leadership.

But things have changed in PEC now. The new director has the opposite ideals. There has been a gradual increase in the quality of education at PEC. Some changes are:

  • Infrastructure is being improved

  • The curriculum has been made more challenging

  • PEC Fest stole the show for the year

So the long standing reputation combined with the strong alumni network will not disappoint you. PEC is not losing its good ranking and NIT Jalandhar is nowhere near it.

Can someone give me a priority order for these MBBS colleges Seth Gs , Grant, KGMU, BHU, CMC Vellore, AIIMS (except Delhi)?

NM
Nikhil Mishra Posted On : November 18th, 2022
M.B.B.S. from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (Graduated 2017)

Every college is good in one or the other aspects. Its location, faculty, and infrastructure are the main factors that determine a college's priority. The following list contains the colleges in order of priority based on their pros and cons.

Pros:

  • BHU: No requirement to sign a bond

  • Seth GS: Located in Mumbai with the best academic structure

  • KGMU Lucknow: The location and academic structure are perfect.

  • Other AIIMS: No need to sign any bond and the fee structure is affordable. AIIMS tag can help you with USMLE purposes.

Cons:

  • BHU: Located in Varanasi, it lacks the facilities of metropolitan cities like Delhi and Mumbai

  • Seth GS: Mumbai is expensive and a bond of 1 year needs to be signed

  • CMC Vellore: You will have to learn Tamil as it is located South India. The fee structure is pretty expensive.

  • Other AIIMS: They are usually not located in a good location except for Bhopal and Bhubaneswar.

The preferred order as per the pros and cons can be - BHU> AIIMS> KGMU> Grant> Seth GS> CMC Vellore

One college can be good for you but bad for others. This is because your own needs determine which college is best for you. So choose wisely.

Which is the better option for CSE, in terms of professors, diversity, regulations, freedoms, food, room quality, extracurriculars and reputation: SSN, Anna University (College of Engineering Guindy)

SA
Sai Anirudh Posted On : December 1st, 2022
BE ECE from College of Engineering Guindy, Tamil Nadu, India(Graduated 2019)

One of my friends is a CEG alumni. He thinks it’s the best option for CSE. Some strong points that support his opinions are:

  1. Faculty: The faculty of CEG is of good quality. Many are experienced and alumni of CEG themselves.

  2. Diverse Background: CEG welcomes a mix crown. Your peers are from everywhere across India and this makes it a more thrilling experience.

  3. Rules and Regulations: CEG does not impose unnecessary rules on its students. They are given an extent of freedom.

  4. Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are well equipped. Canteen food is of good quality at very low cost.

  5. Network: CEG has excellent Wi-Fi facilities.

  6. Hostel: Although the food is of average quality, the cost of hostels is less. The buildings are poor but in good condition.

  7. Extracurricular activities: CEG believes in exposure to extracurricular activities other than academics.

  8. Global Recognition: CEG has excellent recognition among foreign universities.

So overall CEG is the best option of all the other colleges you mentioned. But the placements at CS are better.

So the conclusion is CEG > SSN > SRM/Amrita.

What is the ranking of Madras Institute of Technology in aerospace engineering in India?

DR
Danna Ray Posted On : May 18th, 2021
B.tech from SVKM's NMIMS (2019)

The ranking of Madras Institute of Technology doesn't really matter because there is no scope for Aerospace Engineering in India. It may sound very good in the beginning but after joining this course you will face difficulties. It will create a negative viewpoint for this course and you will feel like dropping this course after 1 or 2 years.

The placements of this branch are also very poor due to less demand in the industry. Securing a job at Hindustan Aeronautics or ISRO will be a little difficult due to fewer openings. ISRO recruits most of the engineers from IISc, so you might have to wait for a few years to get a job there. You can also do MS abroad and then try getting a decent job over there.

Categories

Aeronautical Engineering at Madras Institute of Technology

Course Fee

2.00 lakh

Median Salary Package

13.6 LPA

Though this is one of the most difficult courses in engineering, still no one cares much about it and thus has very less demand too. It will be better if you can opt for any other branch rather than choosing Aerospace engineering.

Why has IBS Hyderabad lost its rank?

AJ
Arshit Jain Posted On : February 23rd, 2023
MBA in Marketing, ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad (Graduated 2018)

You may have heard differing opinions on the current status of IBS Hyderabad. While it is true that there have been some changes that have led to a decline in the quality of education and the reputation of the campus, there are several specific factors that have contributed to this decline.

One factor is the increasing batch size. The college has been adding at least 50 to 100 students each year, which has resulted in a larger student body. However, this increase in batch size has also meant a decrease in the quality of the students being admitted to the main campus.

Another issue is the lack of dedication from some of the professors. Despite having degrees from prestigious universities, some professors are not fully committed to teaching and providing quality education to their students.

The administration's approach to filling the larger batch size has led to the admission of mediocre students who are not serious about their education and cause disruptions in the classroom and in the hostels. This creates a negative environment that can affect the learning experience of all students.

The administration has also failed to enforce rules and regulations, allowing students to engage in harmful activities like smoking, drinking, and damaging hostel properties. These actions have led to a decline in the reputation of the campus and have negatively impacted the placements of students. Companies have noticed the lack of skills and poor behavior of some students during the recruitment process, which has led them to question the quality of education being provided at IBS Hyderabad.

To restore its former glory, the administration needs to prioritize improving the quality of education and ensuring that rules and regulations are followed by all students. Additionally, offering mental conditioning classes for students can help them develop a more professional demeanor, both in the classroom and during the recruitment process, ensuring that the campus continues to attract top companies for placements.
