Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good. I choose this course as I loved to code you will learn a lot as a programmer and also I'm developing. The facilities present are good in behaviour as well as in knowing the student: faculty ratio is 1:30 approx. You will also have mentors and they will support you all the way don't worry. The facilities are well qualified with experience and knowledge in specific specialised subjects. We will have 4 CAs each month and 1-semester exam in 6 months. It's not that difficult but not that easy you need to study to score. Studying 1 week before will do.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are fewer but there as cognizant PWC offered internships with 10-15k stipends. Also, you can apply on your own for many internships and the college can guide you accordingly. The roles offered were Software Developer and Salesforce developer. Projects are done by respective groups in the final year and analysed by college faculties to take your idea forward if it has the potential.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good overall if you are skilled you will be easily placed. Students are eligible for placements in the final year. Cognizant PWC Wipro Tcs Hexaware etc company placement drives were held. The average package offered is 4lpa and the profiles offered are Software Developer, Full stack developer, Salesforce Developer, and Programming Analyst. 70 % of students are placed. I am also placed with 2 offers and looking forward to joining the IT industry.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is simple and less than most of the good private colleges in Kolkata. It's roughly 370000 in 4 years total. You need to pay fees per semester wise which is 42000-45000 approx depending on which seems to vary. Scholarships are present but for specific students with exceptional academics and not good annual family income.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is good as we have technical fests cultural fests also sports events. Generally, fests are. From Feb - August accordingly events are planned for specific fests. Fests happen for 2-3 days not more than that. We have a well-equipped air-conditioned library. Classrooms are average types. Sports on the campus are good but small grounds for cricket and football. The Rotaract club is there and also some technical groups.
