Course Curriculum Overview :
UVCE is one of the oldest college and with affordable education and experienced faculty. I opted this college owing to its placements and Faculty. Faculty student is ratio is good as there will be lectures from core fields as well as guest lectures. Faculties are highly qualified with their higher education qualification and PHD holders along with great experience practically. The exams were just like other engineering colleges but since it doesn't come under VTU, UVCE has a different syllabus and now their credit systems too. It gives a depth to the subject where it cannot be seen in other curriculums.
Placement Experience :
More than 50+ companies are visiting. More than 50+ companies are visiting and offers are in technical as well as mass companies categories. The highest package is more than 12 and the lowers is 3 . It depends on the major you are in. The placement is quite low for the civil engineering background whereas it's 100% for CS IT etc. I choose to work in the Civil engineering domain.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is affordable every year even for general merit students. Along with this, the categories can opt for scholarships such as EPass, OBC central scholarships, and many scholarships based on their eligibility criteria. There is also an alumni association that provides financial assistance to students from lower financial backgrounds. Job assistance is provided through job training, and soft skill training and there is a dedicated placement cell for it.
