Remarks :
CUET is the admission test for joining this college, and along with that, there will be a personal interview and micro presentation. An average score in CUET is fine to get into CHRIST for a Btech degree. CUET consists of subjects taken in 12th along with basic aptitude. The interview consists of questions regarding you and a couple of questions regarding subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is designed based on AICTE rules. But it was well structured with all-round excellence in all fields. The syllabus was approved by the National board of accreditation (NBA). Regarding exam pattern, CHRIST follows the CIA(Continuous Internal Assessment) system, where there are 3 CIAs for each semester and an End semester exam CIA might be a quiz, a project, a presentation, assignment.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is mandatory in our course. Collage assists you in choosing an internship but we must grab the opportunity. The college has an Industry incubation and innovation cell, where projects are taken up from MSMEs. Students can work on problems and build ideas on them.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements right from the start of their 3rd year. I would say placements are decent for my course. The average CTC is 6 lakhs, basic is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. For a newly established college like this, it's decent enough.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are not much when compared to other private universities in India. It's decent for what they provide. Scholarships are given on a merit basis as well as a financial Cris basis. They provide decent placements, at least for Computer science engineering students.
Campus Life :
The campus is huge, and full of greenery. There's a lot to do on campus. There are many student clubs like CAPS- Centre for Academic and Professional support SWO-Student welfare organization CSA-Centre for social action And many literature clubs, dance clubs, Choir clubs What not! The sports grounds are huge and we'll be equipped.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is not as good as you expect. It's neat and hygienic. But the rules of the hostel are very harsh. Frequently they ask for fines, even for vague reasons. You can better pick a local pg or an apartment. Which costs more or less the same price.
