MAU The best college for BCA

gj
8.0 /10

Remarks :

If you want to get admission to BCA then you can get admission without any entrance exam. You must pass your 12th class with good marks. To get application form details you need to visit the official website of MAU. The admission process is the same for all students. There are no reservation benefits available.

Course Curriculum Overview :

After 12th I want to learn more about computer & programming languages so I choose BCA. At this university, you will get the best teachers who support you and the student ratio is good. All teachers are PHD holders and teaching methods are good to understand. BCA have 6 semesters and you need to read and learn carefully to pass the exam. Exams are difficult but you can pass easily.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are conducted but I was not part of any company. Once we visit the ever data company and we learn about data security. We did a project in my 5th semester which is my website arealnews.com a news website.

Placement Experience :

From the 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. There are too many companies are offered placements in MAU like Infosys, Amazon, and more. The highest package was up to 50 lakh and the average package is 12 lakh per year. You need to get 70+ marks for better placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If talk about the fee of my course then when I passed BCA my fee was 35000 per year and at this time fee details are not confirmed. So if you want to know about the fee then you need to visit the official website. There is no scholarship available.

Campus Life :

Annual functions like freshers' parties and farewell parties are arranged by the students and freshers' party conducted in the month of September. The farewell, party was conducted in the month of April. MAU has a big library which has all the books for student courses. There is a sports week and sports tournament conducted every year. I have no details about the social clubs and website.

Placement Experience:

Well, to be honest, I have to say that my college doesn't offer many placement opportunities. The package they offer is around 4 lakhs which is not much, and only a limited number of companies come to the campus for recruitment. Most of the batch graduates are without any placement offers. Students who wish to pursue a job have to find opportunities or internships on their own. Sometimes faculties also help students to get a job. As per my observation, most of the students opt for higher education after graduation. However, I do believe that the absence of campus placements doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of education or employability of the students. It's just that students have to rely on their efforts to secure job opportunities.

So companies start coming in the 3rd year ( for a 4-year course ), and 2nd year ( for the 3-year course), though you may not get a good placement. The average placement is 4-5 lakh per annum. The placement ratio is nearly 40-50 %. I am looking for masters.
