Good college for someone looking in mumbai

Remarks :

So after the 12th, I took the CET exam and in that exam I got 85%tile. As I was from Pune university and for me getting admission in the home state was difficult, I chose Mumbai university (because for me this is another university). The eligibility for this course is min 50 % in the 12th and cut off from cet exams. for Atharva, the college cutoff goes till 95%tile. as I am from obc category I got the benefit of reservation. there is a management quota too for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The best thing about this college is its teachers. they are helpful in academics. I choose computer engineering because it's going to run for a long time and also have an interest in languages so I prefer it. the student ratio would be around 60/40 boys /girls. there are smartboards present for teaching and also many labs where students can go and sit there is no restriction which is one of the good points. for exams, there are mid and end sem per year and in between them there are in total of 4 unit tests conducted.

Internships Opportunities :

I applied for internships in various companies during my summer vacations. I got placed in a company and worked there for a month and got a letter of recommendation so that was a significant boost to my cv. in projects, I did web development for a company site. and daily tasks were there which we had to complete in the given time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College fees are based on reservations for the open category fees are nearly above 130000 and for the obc category, they are 80k per year. the scholarship is there and students can contact to scholarship department on the 5th floor for it. teachers are helpful and help with an internship opportunities.

Campus Life :

so campus life is best. there is a swimming pool on campus which is unique. also, there are 3 phases one is for engineering other for hotel management and the third is for arts. On our engineering campus, there are 2 libraries that consist of tons of books so there is no need to buy any external books. also, students can apply if some readers are not there. extra activities are there. various fests and in Mumbai our college is famous for fests. there are nss clubs and dramatic clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start in the pre-final semester and are completed before the beginning of the final semester. Everyone is placed somewhere or the other, might or might not receive their dream offer or company, but generally, everyone is able to convert a decent firm's decent offer. BCG, Google, Microsoft, Bain, Mckinsey, Cohesity, Blackrock, Kearney, and Strategy& are a few of the companies that visit regularly. Highest package runs in crores (?4cr/year) for international locations - Hongkong or the US. The highest within India is also close to ?2.5cr, the average package is ~?25LPA. Greater than 95% of students get decent placements. I'll be exploring jobs after the degree, and might go for higher education as well sometime after experiencing a few years.
