Life at Atharva

Remarks :

Admission is based on Jee and Mhtcet Entrance Exam. The admission process starts after the result declaration of mhtcet Exam. We have to fill out a centralized admission form for engineering colleges. Then based on merit the merit list is generated and we get the college. Then go to a particular college that was allotted to us in the Cap round. Then every college has its own further process of students whose name comes in the merit list.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I got fewer marks in the entrance exams, so I got this college and but I got the branch i.e. which I wanted. Faculty: student ratio is 1:20. Faculty are highly qualified. Exams are conducted timely according to the Mumbai university timeline.

Placement Experience :

Placement season starts in the 7th semester. Companies like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Media.net, and many more have visited the campus. Almost 70% of Students get placed. My Plan is to join the company for a job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are the same for the full course duration which means whatever we have paid in our first year same fee for rest 3 years. There are scholarships available but I wasn't eligible. I got Capgemini offer for 5.75 LPA.

Campus Life :

Rhythm is the annual fest which is conducted in March and techfest is IEEE techithon. All the books related to the curriculum and additional different authors' books are available in the library. Students have wifi access in the library. The classrooms and labs are well-equipped and maintained. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged on campus. The college has cricket, volleyball, Baseball, kabaddi, and different sports team. There is a robotics section for students who are interested.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start in the pre-final semester and are completed before the beginning of the final semester. Everyone is placed somewhere or the other, might or might not receive their dream offer or company, but generally, everyone is able to convert a decent firm's decent offer. BCG, Google, Microsoft, Bain, Mckinsey, Cohesity, Blackrock, Kearney, and Strategy& are a few of the companies that visit regularly. Highest package runs in crores (?4cr/year) for international locations - Hongkong or the US. The highest within India is also close to ?2.5cr, the average package is ~?25LPA. Greater than 95% of students get decent placements. I'll be exploring jobs after the degree, and might go for higher education as well sometime after experiencing a few years.

The course in electronics and telecommunications is hard. The Faculty here have less knowledge about the subjects they teach. faculty is aged and does not have proper teaching skills. All faculty here are complete B.tech, not any PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best thing about this college is its teachers. they are helpful in academics. I choose computer engineering because it's going to run for a long time and also have an interest in languages so I prefer it. the student ratio would be around 60/40 boys /girls. there are smartboards present for teaching and also many labs where students can go and sit there is no restriction which is one of the good points. for exams, there are mid and end sem per year and in between them there are in total of 4 unit tests conducted.
