Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is a full-time residential course and the curriculum is very detailed. Most of the teaching and courses are case-based. A case related to the topic covered is provided by the faculty a few days before the class and the students are supposed to read the case and come prepared for case discussion in the class. Case-based teaching approach adds value to a great extent as the student has an overview of the topic to be covered in the class beforehand. The faculty-student ratio at IIM is approx 1:15. All of the faculties hold a PhD degree from reputed institutions and has great experience. Prof. Abhishek Srivastav (faculty of operations) holds an AIR 2 in GATE. This shows that professors have a mix of both technical and managerial skills. There are 3 semesters per year and each semester comprises mid-terms and end-terms. The exams are conducted once in 30-45 days and in between the exams, quizzes are conducted after every 5th session of the course.
