Good campus life, OK faculty but fees is in a bit higher side

Remarks :

The admission is through JEE Main Rank for the general category the highest rank taken is around AIR 30000. There is also a reservation for other categories. You have to go through JOSAA counseling to get into the college and select this college in your choices of college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is pretty good and new as compared to other old colleges which are following very old curriculum and you don't have to study useless subjects which are of no use to you. I choose Computer Science because I am pretty interested in technology. The faculty: student ratio is good too. Faculty is OK I would say and everyone is different in teaching methods. Term exams are twice in a semester mid-term and end-term. It is easy to pass exams even if you study a week before.

Internships Opportunities :

There were very few summer internship opportunities but companies offer winter internships of 6 months with placement and some offer only 6 months internships in the 7th Semester. The average stipend is 30-40K. Companies include GAP, Cvent, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are good but it mostly depends on your efforts with minimal effort too you can get a job. There are adequate opportunities. Campus placements start in the 7th Semester. Top companies include Amazon, Flipkart, and Gameskraft. The highest package is 36LPA and the average is 14.8LPA. The percentage of students is 90%+.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are constant mostly for each year. The fees are a bit high considering it is a semi-government college. The institute fee for one semester is 104000 and if you opt for a hostel it is 32000. You don't get any scholarship from college but you can get a scholarship if your state government provides any or if you are eligible for any central scholarship in the NSP portal.

Campus Life :

The campus life is pretty good. The campus of MNIT Jaipur is pretty green and the atmosphere is good too. You are allowed in MNIT's fest which occurs twice a year. One is a cultural fest that is conducted in February and the other is Sphinx which is a tech fest that is conducted in September. The library is OK. The classrooms are good and the sports are good too. There are few clubs in college.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is OK but it mostly depends on which hostel you are allotted to. You have basic things like an almirah, table, chair, and bed in the room. The mess food is OK or I would say eatable. The registration process isn't hectic for the hostel and 32000 is the fee for room and mess.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose to engineer in computer science because I love computers and coding. The student ratio in college is good and the faculty are in good numbers. The faculty is well-qualified and their teaching is good. There are two mid-term and one final semester exam in one semester and it is quite difficult.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the semester. Various big companies visit the campus like Adani, tata, JSW, etc. The highest package recently is 16 lakhs and the average package is about 7 lakhs. In the mech department, more than 50% of students are getting placed. My plan is also to sit in the campus placements only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are two courses in B.Tech computer science and electronics and communications engineering in this college. Both branches have good faculty members and the placement record is fair enough for any aspirant. electronics and communications engineering are that branch is not for students who want to explore computer science. The main reason is that you will have to cover electronics as well because placement in computer science is very good whereas in ECE is not considerable.
