Remarks :

The entire process was very smooth. I was selected based on my XAT score for the interview round and written ability test. Written ability tests and interviews were conducted online due covid -19 otherwise applicants need to travel to Anand for the entire formalities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum at the institute of rural management Anand (IRMA) is very unique. IRMA gives exposure to both classroom study and on-ground experience. IRMA is strict when it comes to attendance and exams. Teachers are very qualified and have great experience in their respective fields.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The timeline for the Summer internship segment at IRMA is a bit different from other b-school. Our SIS starts from 1st June to 31st July and our interviews start from the 1st week of Feb. Average package is around 50000 for 2 months.

Placement Experience :

Placement at IRMA is average. IRMA is a great place for students from agricultural backgrounds as many companies come to IRMA to recruit agriculture and food technology background students for internship. Many BFSI companies and start-ups are also coming to IRMA for recruitment.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The entire fee for 2 years including the hostel and mess cost around 16 lakhs. There are a lot of scholarship facilities available in IRMA. Overall IRMA fees are a bit on the higher side when compared to the facilities provided.

Campus Life :

Campus life at IRMA is very good. The lush green campus is a great place to live. We have a student activity centre with a gym, badminton court, TT table and pool table. There is open ground for cricket and football.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are good, we have been given individual rooms with shared bathrooms. RO water is available 24/7 and power cut is very rare. The real struggle starts in summer as the hostel is not air-conditioned

The placement process starts from the time we join the campus. It is a cluster cohort system, with an aim of right fit for every student.. For first-year students after completion of Term 1, a Summer internship takes place, and for second-year placement start after 5th term. Many companies visit campus offering various profiles in Finance, consulting, marketing, IT, product management, real estate, consumer goods, and pharmaceuticals. 190 recruiters offered 220 offers during the last season. However, it is confidential to share the name of the companies. Highest package was Rs. 1.12 CTC, an average of Rs. 36.2 LPA in India. International offers had the highest package of $150,297. 100% of opted students got placed in the last season. MANAGEMENT EDUCATION AT ITS BEST- IRMA

Placement Experience:

The campus placements at the Institute of rural management Anand, IRMA or consider to be good and have a wide range of the company is visiting the campus. Many reputed and well-known companies visit the campus for placements. Some of the companies are Amul, ICICI Bank, NABARD, SIDBI, care India, SBI, HDFC Bank, Tata trust, Paytm, NDDB, etc. The salary packages offered to Irma students for competitive and comparable to those offered by other premium management institutes. For the PRM 41 batch, the highest package was 26 lakhs and the average package was Rs.14.5 lakhs. The college offers 100% placements to the students.
