Remarks :
Admission is basically on the basis of JEE rank and also the 12th percentage. There's a cut-off for both provided on the college website. If you can make the cutoff then the admission process is quite easy you take admission from you're home and also you can go to the college for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty members are from IITs and are also very knowledgeable and helpful. There are basically three exams within a semester. Exams are not that tough to pass but some subjects need extra attention so that one can pass them.
Internships Opportunities :
Civil engineering companies like Jayprakash associates, JMC construction, and JSW came to the college. They offered roles like Field engineer trainee etc. Various projects are offered where you can parts of something big like hydraulic dams, bridges etc
Placement Experience :
Being a civil engineering student placement opportunities are quite less compared to other branches. Yet JUIT provided students with ample amount of placement opportunities I myself got placed before the completion of my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is quite ok because other colleges are taking so much of the fees and this college is not that much expensive compared to its counterparts. Value for money is the term that can be used for JUIT.
Campus Life :
Anugoonj is a college fest that happens each year. There are also a lot of tech fests and sports fests that are organised by the management. The library is quite big it has all sorts of books both related to the curriculum and also others. Sports is also an integral part of the college it has a basketball and badminton court as well.
Hostel Facilities :
As the campus is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas it is quite cold in the winter the hostel's rooms are provided with heaters and geysers. The mess food is really good and nutritious. Hostel rooms are easily available as it is quite huge.
