Remarks :
I took the SNUSAT, a test administered by the university itself. Eligibility: Science stream in school Application fees and dates are all available on the website of the college itself. The form is on the website and applications start in June and go on till August.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course as I had an interest in the subject. Moreover, with the ongoing technological push, it felt like a safe choice. The student-faculty ratio would be around 1:20 The faculty are mostly PHD doctors having done their degrees from prominent IITs. The exams strictly follow the academic calendar released at the start of the term and are doable provided you know the material.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The current cost of education here has risen considerably and now it costs 24 lakhs overall whereas our batch paid 12 lakhs. They do offer sports and academic scholarships that need to be availed at the time of admission with the required documents.
Campus Life :
We have BREEZE, which is our annual techno-cultural fest that happens in March. The library is huge and well stocked with all prominent journals being available online as well. The classrooms are air-conditioned and the lectures are recorded. There are 30 active clubs on campus along with a football field, a cricket field and a well stocked Indoor Sports complex.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are nice. They are mostly twin-sharing and have the option of a solo room as well. The meals are very nice and the campus has junk food stalls within the compounds so getting junk once in a while is easy too. It is a compulsory residential college.
