Course Description

Application process is completely online. Candidates need to visit the official website for registering themselves for the course. The steps of application process are as follows:

Visit the official website.
Click on ‘Admission’ tab and further on ‘Engineering’ tab.
A new window appears depicting the link of registration and login.
A new candidate must register themselves first with basic information and submit it.
A verification link will be sent to registered email, click on the link and verify yourself.
Now login and fill in the application form.
Upload the scanned recent passport size photograph and submit it.
Candidates making online payment will be directed to payment page.
Make payment and submit it finally.

Candidate making payment through Demand Draft must send filled-in application form along with DD at:

Application Fee

Application fee of INR 1900 must be paid by the candidate to complete the application process. The fee can be paid through both online and offline modes. In online mode, fee must be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card. In offline mode, fee must be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Shiv Nadar University” payable at par in Noida.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English are mandatory.

Admission Process

Route 1: JEE Mains 2023 or 2022: High performers may be offered direct admissions based on their JEE (Mains) score in 2023 or 2022. Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview.
Route 2: SNUSAT + APT
Route 3: College Board SAT + Interview* - The candidates can apply with their SAT score
Route 4: ACT + Interview* - The candidates can apply with their ACT score

I chose the course as I had an interest in the subject. Moreover, with the ongoing technological push, it felt like a safe choice. Navigating campus life: A review of my college - Shiv Nadar University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to pursue a computer science degree. I had heard about SNU from many of my friends and did research on my own. The placements and multidisciplinary opportunities attracted me to SNU the most. Faculty to student ratio is 1:10 if I am not wrong. CSE faculty is good and highly qualified. Exams are a bit on the difficult side.

I chose CSE as it was a course of interest as I had taken cs in classes 11 and 12th. Almost all the faculty here are Ph.D. holders and are experienced professors. The students in my batch are 160, which is fairly low. Hence, the faculty-student ratio is quite good. You can approach any of the professors, and they will be ready to help you in any way possible.
