The fee of the college is a little higher but the infrastructure is equally top class. Campus Jobs are always available for inquisitive Students. The total cost of 4 yr study might go as high as 14 lacs. A rural meritorious student scholarship is the best scholarship, you can pay zero rs and can get an education for free.
Fees are very high in my opinion. It is 5 Lacs inclusive of hostel and laundry and mess per annum. There are many scholarships available to which students can apply if they are eligible. There are many on-campus jobs available.
A total fee of 24 lakhs (as of 2023), 12 lakhs being the tuition fee and the rest 12 is the hostel and mess fee. The scholarship is for merit students, and SAT Scholar and Sports scholarships are also there. Someone coming from an underprivileged background or a financially unstable background will also get support from Shiv Nadar Foundation.
The current cost of education here has risen considerably and now it costs 24 lakhs overall whereas our batch paid 12 lakhs. They do offer sports and academic scholarships that need to be availed at the time of admission with the required documents.
The fees are reasonable compared to the facilities the university provides us. There are lots of opportunities for the students more so for the students from low-income groups. There are merit-based, sports, and need-based scholarships. Also, there are On-Campus Jobs for students which pay up to 12k a month depending upon the hours put in by the students.
The fee structure has hostel fees, mess fees, laundry fees, and tuition fees as the campus is fully residential. There are a variety of scholarships easily available to students on the SNU website. SNU also has OCJs ie. Campus Jobs help students gain experience working in an actual work environment along with some stipend.
Tuition fees at my time of joining were 2.25 LPA and hostel and mess fees are 1.75 LPA. Now the fees have increased. There are a few scholarship options as well. There is sports scholarship, merit cum means, SAT, etc. Average and median placement is very good so the ROI that I am expecting makes it worth the fees.
Fees are hiking by 10% every year. Right now the fee for one year of engineering is 4,35,000. Scholarships are there for economically weaker sections and people given SAT exams. SNU offers on-campus jobs where you can earn.
the tuition fee for the batch 2024 is 1.5L and the hostel fee is 1.5L for a year. However, it has increased many folds now. It is more than twice of the previous amount for the batch 2025 and so on.
Very hard to get any TA ships in our college as Professors usually go with those who they know quite well, So better start connecting with them if you intend to get some Teaching assistant positions..
