SNU SAT and JEE mains are the major exams to enter SNU. Along with these SNU also considers SAT. SNU- Why you should come

Admission:

The eligibility criteria for sitting for the exam for economics were board marks above 75% and mandatory mathematics till class 12. I had to give 2 exams in total. One of which tested mathematics, logic, and English. There were 2 different sections for mathematics. After that, there was another exam for essays in which we were given 3 topics and had to write on all 3. After clearing the exams there was an interview round for the shortlisted candidates.

Navigating campus life: A review of my college - Shiv Nadar University

Admission:

The minimum eligibility at my time was 75% in CBSE class 12th exams. This was the eligibility to give the university's entrance exam SNUSAT. There were two modes of admission for my course: 1) SNUSAT and 2) JEE main score. I gave SNUSAT. The application form was available on the site. Application fees at my time were 2000 rupees. Overall the application process was smooth and the test was online in a proctored mode at my time due to COVID-19. Results came in about a month late, but I was very happy when I was offered the course of my choice.

SNU insights

Admission:

There are two ways to enter the B.Tech program at SNU first through jee mains and the second through SNUSAT. I got my admission through jee. I secured 92.7 percentile in jee and I got an ECE branch. I found the application form on their website. Application fees were 1000 and forms are generally out by the start of the year. There are no reservation benefits at SNU.

I got in through the SNU-SAT entrance exam. I found it on the SNU website in the admissions section. The test had different sections for physics, maths, english and aptitude. All the sections were timed individually. No reservation was availed by me. I want the admission process to be faster and a bit more transparent.

Honest Words from a undergrad CS student at SNU

Admission:

I applied through the JEE Mains examination. My score in it was about 92-93 percentile. The average cutoff for those in CSE was roughly 90. Keep in mind that this was 2020 a very uncertain year for students so this information should be taken with a pinch of salt as it may not be applicable now
