Shiv Nadar University review

Remarks :

There was an entrance exam to the college and along with marks scored in the SNUSAT JEE mains marks as well as some percentages from class XII were taken into consideration. Apply online on www.snu.edu.in A special sports quota is available and there is a scholarship for rural background students

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for B.Sc (R) in Chemistry. In the course, there were a total of 9 students and an equal number of teachers. The ratio of teacher: to student was 1:1. The faculties were highly qualified and graduated from top institutes of the world. Exams were conducted twice a year and it was quite easy to pass them.

Internships Opportunities :

OCJ on-campus Jobs are available throughout the year. In my class, there is a lot of scope for research work. The facility of very expensive instruments and machines makes this university ab university of eminence

Placement Experience :

In my class of chemistry, no student took placement, everyone wanted to go for higher studies in India or abroad. Some students did decide to appear for government exams. But 85 per cent of students in my batch were placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee of the college is a little higher but the infrastructure is equally top class. Campus Jobs are always available for inquisitive Students. The total cost of 4 yr study might go as high as 14 lacs. A rural meritorious student scholarship is the best scholarship, you can pay zero rs and can get an education for free.

Campus Life :

Life on campus is filled with colours, including the beautiful environment in the library. Having more than 100 clubs and societies make it one of the leading institute for extracurricular activities. More than 40 sports are played here. Finvest, go green, aura, and debating society are some of the groups.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are quite well maintained and rooms are spacious. There can be some improvement in the food quality provided in the dining halls. The service is available 5 times a day, along with that you can eat from shops available on the campus, and you can even do your shopping inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want to do this because of my interest in the field. Students in the class are 100-200 and there were different faculty for each. Teaching is good but needs improvement. The classes are regular. Exam is quite difficult and assessment is given to us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I was interested in learning mathematics. The faculty-student ratio in the department of mathematics is approximately 20:1. The facilities here are highly qualified with all of them having a Ph.D. and are masters in their respective fields. The exams are conducted timely here every semester and results are published on time.

Placement Experience:

in semester 6 one can go for a dissertation or job. In my time no company has visited to offer jobs in the Biomedical department. However, teachers do their best to inform students about different job opportunities. I wanna pursue an MSc degree after my grads.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty and course curriculum matches the expectations. The professors are always open to solving problems and queries regarding the same. The teaching is smooth as far as I evaluated cuz everything from explaining the diagrams by presentation to the detailed description in laboratory classes is a great experience. The faculty is great and highly educated (many have PH.Ds and M.S) and cooperative. The exams are conducted semester wise and every semester is predefined for the convenience of the candidates. The 30:70 ratio of marks is dedicated to the internal and end-sem exams respectively. To be very honest, the course is limited and specifically defined already which makes it easier for students to focus on the required content (either on the internet or in books) without getting confused. Also, I felt it is easy to get past exams if you are able to dedicate 4-5 days to each paper before exams alongside consecutive study throughout the semester.
